Well, it’s empirically true lol. Since we began tracking this data, which was 1986, guns increased by over 270 million while the homicide rate fell 40%. Violent crime rate fell over 30%.Of course that's not true.
If you are ignorant of a topic, in this case guns, crime rates etc, then you should refrain from postingTrue! Also, the earth is flat; the tooth fairy is real; and only virgins can ride unicorns.
Yeah must be why places like South Korea and japan have a higher suicide rate than us. It is because they have all the guns. The scores of dead school children in this country apparently died of a hoax then. Spare me the gun fetishism.
What's their murder rate via gunshot?Yeah must be why places like South Korea and japan have a higher suicide rate than us.
What's life like in fantasy land?Yeah must be why places like South Korea and japan have a higher suicide rate than us. It is because they have all the guns.
Or why despite the fact that there have been hundreds of millions more guns sold in America in the last few decades the homicide rate has gone down.
I am sorry but actual facts prove your claims to be the idiotic bs we all know they are.
Maybe go back and reread the post I was responding to and stop trying to move the goal posts. What's their murder rate via gunshot?
Maybe go back and reread the post I was responding to and stop trying to move the goal posts.
But if you want to play this game, if your claims were true then a state with a much higher percentage of gun ownership like say Idaho would have a higher homicide rate then a state like New York.
How about you look up those numbers and let me know what you find out.
So you think you are less dead if you are shot to death vs stabbed to death. What's their murder rate via gunshot?
Tell me what SK's murder rate is via guns. You brought up their high suicide rate to prove guns don't have an effect, so what's their murder rate via guns vs ours? This is your comp. I already know the answer, and my guess is you do too which is why you're running harder than JD Vance at a lazy boy clearance sale.Maybe go back and reread the post I was responding to and stop trying to move the goal posts.

Talking about fairly land while you pretend that the only part of an argument that counts are the ones you cherry pick is pretty hilarious. What's life like in fantasy land?

More whining about people trying to have the last word while you can’t stop responding to them. Not a problem. I knew you would be back.

You really seem to be waffling on your claims here. You claimed that it is a lie that guns have no relevance on homicide, suicide or violent crime.Tell me what SK's murder rate is via guns. You brought up their high suicide rate to prove guns don't have an effect, so what's their murder rate via guns vs ours? This is your comp. Idaho has a population of 2m, NY has a pop of 9m. Idaho has a significantly lower crime rate than, say, TEXAS, as well. In fact, in general red states have higher rates of violent crime than blue states. Why do you think red states in general are more dangerous than blue states? Why is violent crime so out of control in your states?
So you are one of those people who think you are extra special dead if you are murdered by a gun vs only regular dead if you are murdered any other way.Murders involving firearms by state U.S. 2023| Statista

I'm just having fun. You seem to have the problem. I could care less how I look to you.More whining about people trying to have the last word while you can’t stop responding to them.
That you don’t see just how ridiculous you look is hilarious.
Wait do you not realize that you are super dead if you murdered by a gun and only regular dead if you are stabbed to death. Now do rope deaths since you think murder, suicide, and accidents are all the same thing.
However, from one of your sources we see that New York has over 10 times the murders committed using firearms than does Idaho.
It’s hilarious that you think you will fool anyone with that weak ass excuse.I'm just having fun. You seem to have the problem. I could care less how I look to you.
I think letting people have weapons to kill people when they have demonstrated extreme mental deficiency or anger management to be an obscenity.
I sure as hell don't need your permission or approval to post. That's the admins job or are you applying foe the position. Your opinion on what is insubstantial is also just your opinion.
Nighty night.
Texas is certainly trying hard to drive away anyone who thought of visiting.Texas loosens gun laws, bans 'red flag' orders
Gov. Greg Abbott signed several bills over the weekend making it easier to own certain firearms and restricting gun control measures.www.fox7austin.com
And sawed off shotguns are now legal in Texas. I guess they were too long for... hiding under trench coats? I dunno.
How Ironic....Yep no authoritarians here this isn't the state for you.
A win/win.Yep stay out.
Having been stationed in texas....this actually would not surprise me if con-servatives advocated it for BS religious reasons.I've heard they want to eat puppies alive and sacrificed children to Moloch.
They have a higher suicide rate. Guns are irrelevant to homicide, suicide and violent crime rates. What's life like in fantasy land?

All in all, it's still better than Texas. No, I was too busy mocking the idea that anyone would want to come to Illinois.
Domestic violence is cool? What if he stabs his wife? Is that a reason to take his gun away? What if he doesn't even have a gun?
What if you stepped back and considered these scenarios you think might make some sort of point?
