Maybe being buds with Trump and firing a bunch of Americans wasn't the smartest move.

"(Reuters) -Tesla board members about a month ago reached out to several executive search firms to find a successor for CEO Elon Musk, the Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday, citing people familiar with the discussions.

The current status of the board's push, which, according to the report, was sparked by Musk's heavy involvement with the Trump administration, could not be determined, WSJ said."

That's probably why he decided to move back to his core business. I'm sure he will bullshit the board until they decide to keep him on. After all, he learned from the best when he worked with Trump.

What is his “core business” exactly? Last time he focused on Tesla, he was personally responsible for creating the biggest lemon since the Edsel.

Terrible CEO. Tesla’s results alone scream out for a new leader.

The shareholders have an excellent case for a class action lawsuit. The board members should be sued into poverty for the abdication of their responsibility to act in the best interests of the shareholders.

Hopefully replacing him as CEO won't save Tesla, since he's still the big owner rich from it. They'll try to launch PR to get people to stop blaming the company. The company shouldn't be let off the hook until he doesn't own it.

I had to look that one up! thanks

The Ford Edsel was a car model produced by Ford Motor Company from 1958 to 1960. It was named after Edsel Ford, the son of Henry Ford, but the car itself became a legendary example of a car failure. The Edsel's failure was attributed to a combination of factors including a recession, an unusual design, quality issues, and a push-button steering wheel hub for the automatic transmission, which confused drivers.

Ohhh, this is gonna be interesting. I've seen so many Elon-bros say if he ever left Tesla they'd immediately sell their shares. I loaded up on Tesla shorts the past few days. Could be a fine ride ahead.

I didn't know Tesla made shorts. Are they electric?

Actually, yes they do (or at least did) 😆

Still not buying a Tesla until he divests his stock.

Everyone that gets close to Trump gets used, destroyed & spit out except the most loyal. Musk is more loyal to his $$$ than he is to Trump.

Agreed.

Tesla is his bread and butter and one of the key pillars of his wealth; even if Elon stops managing the company (not that he's really done much of that lately as the Nazi's been too busy savaging the Federal govt) it still represents a good chunk of his livelihood, therefore we shouldn't stop attacking it until he divests completely.

That's what happens when your daughter speaks out against you. Poor Musk, all he had to do is say that he loves his daughter.
