Terrorist attack in India: Sign of new tactic?

Since 9/11 we have been concerned that if another terrorist attack were to be pulled off it would be some sort of massive suicide bomber attack. After what has happened in India do you think that instead of some huge bomber attack, Al Qaeda will instead storm buildings and take hostages instead of just outright killing them?

Let's be concerned about America, if people really care about what goes on in India, they wouldn't be dying once every three seconds of poverty, starvation, diseases.

I understand the many Hawks got excited at Mumbai and want to concentrate on the Jewish deaths for maximum political benefit, but the fact is we have starvation in America and you have proven you don't care of deaths in India unless Terrorists do it. Prove you have soul people, your just as sick as the Terrorists, your breed the disease.

Doc, the sad thing is a viable plan. Don't even need anthrax ... but a plan like that would not be enough terror.

And no, in case you haven't noticed, there are never hostages. There are never demands.

When they commit to a terrorist tactic it is never to extract concessions.

Fact is that we haven't seen an attack with the same magnitude as 9/11. I don't think that reflects a change in strategy, but simply a continuation of established tactics. It's a question of ease of execution more than anything.

If small damage can be done and still carry some form of symbolism or significance, it will be done. I would also argue that terrorist organization like Al-Qaeda could do much more damage, but instead choose to be selective to avoid damaging their reputation as religiously-sanctioned 'infidel removals' :doh

So sad we will ignore the deaths in India that happen everyday because of disease and starvation and yet be concerned about political motivated deaths.
