Yeah but a bunch of kids don't need to have leave to dress up like various animals when they please. The ones who dress up would be a distraction to those who don't.

OTOH, this law would have a 6 year old censured for pretending to be a lion at recess- even without a costume. That shouldn't happen. By the same token though- if the kid is in the habit of standing up and roaring during math class...nuh-uh.

With all that said, I suppose the local school boards can decide on appropriate guidelines for the schools and parents they serve.

Yeah. If i was a furry when i was in school i wouldnt dress up on any normal school day. Time and place rules are reasonable.

Depends on how many the person has and preferences. I think even kids would only have one because (boy howdy have they gone up in price) which makes having something you will grow out of not being the best choice. Every time i volunteer at the USAF museum on our halloween event im almost always in my fox suit. On Halloween proper i hand out candy as either megaman or a hunter from bloodbourne.

First they came for the cat ears and I said nothing because I didn't wear cat ears.
Then they came for the puppy bois and I said nothing because I'm not a puppy boi.
Then they came for the fox tails and I said nothing because I don't wear fox tails.

But when they came the litters I found I had no one left to defend myself.
