You want to carry private insurance? GO AHEAD, it's all right, you are free too!
That's what they say right? That's what the supporters tell you, not to worry at all, it's not gonna change that.
They also don't mention you'll be paying double.
Once for your insurance, and once for their new system.
So for people on the lower end of the economic spectrum, are gonna be forced to dump their private insurance and go government, or they will have to make do with the impact of paying for two health insurances.
It's patently dishonest, and immoral.
We, my wife and I, cannot afford to pay for private and still survive the impending tax hikes, and don't say we aren't gonna get hit, we will. I know where we stand.
I lose half my income (yet still pay taxes on it) to my ex-wife, so we MAKE over 70k a year, we take home far less. There are a lot of people like us out there that are about to get railroaded.
