Kennedy's passing could give public health option proponents a boost.
If the Bill is re-named the Kennedy bill, which it almost surely will, the Democrats will have the momentum.
The Dems have a nice opportunity to exploit.
Whether it is used correctly is in their hands.
I don't know. He seems to be in pretty good spirits today. He may actually be getting just enough dick from his husband at home.
The mods should kill this thread Ted Kennedy style. Let it drown in the sewer.
Death elates him.
I love this farcical notion too; that he was this champion for the poor. Nothing he ever did was a benefit to the poor; but rather and effort to make Americans dumb enough to buy his agenda dependent dumb wards of the State.
I am betting he thought of nothing else as he sailed his yachts off of Martha's Vineyard.
:rofl
Don't you mean fellates?
I don't agree that this will save the "public" health effort because REALITY will get in the way;

I think we should start Universal Health Care early and send her some Midol. I'll give $3 you give $3?
I thought TD was a he.
Sigh. We really should start a pool on how quickly someone from the other side will come into a RIP type thread and **** it up with their hyper partisan idiocy when everyones being respectful in it. Like it'd be so damn hard to make a "Why the man deserves no respect in death" thread or something...but of course not, that'd take them being actually halfway respectful to their fellow posters and god knows people don't give a **** about that. They have to have all the attention on them, they must derail it into a big argument.
Who gives a sh*t? People die all the f*cking time. F*ck Ted Kennedy. The only reason anyone sees fit to show their “respect” towards him is because he was a famous politician.
Classless.
Spare us the sanctimonious b.s. He was a drunken sot from a privileged background. You're delusional if you think he was a statesman. He was set up, from BIRTH, to play a role.
Now he's dead.
boo-de-frickin-hoo.
Classless.
Why? Do you know Ted Kennedy? Does his family post on the forum? Am I going to hurt Teddy's feelings?
Ted Kennedy is dead. You and I will be joining him sooner or later. Get over it.
You seem to have a very optimistic view on life. Why? Do you know Ted Kennedy? Does his family post on the forum? Am I going to hurt Teddy's feelings?

Your insulting behaviour is meaningless.
What does me having to know Ted Kennedy or not have to do with dancing on the grave of someone who just died.
It is a classless individual who participates in such foolish behaviour.
Well, you are also forgetting that there are various respectful and disrespectful ways of dancing on someone's grave. If you were to wear tap shoes chances are it's going to be disrespectful. However, I don't see how a slow waltz could be construed as anything but respectful.
RIP Senator Kennedy. Condolences from the people of Massachusetts and the people of America alike.

Your reprimands of my behavior are hilarious. Go put on your black, turn off your computer, put ashes on your forehead, and mourn this tremendous loss appropriately.
Hypocrites. :doh
What I see is obvious.
Anonymous posters who have no access, no contacts and no prestige trashing the memories of a respected statesman.
