Ted Cruz launches faux filibuster as Senate readies spending bill vote

What liberals don't seem to understand and apparently are dense about is the reality that SS and Medicare are self funding or supposed to be until LBJ created a unified budget. It is the individual's money that the people are getting back with SS and Medicare, not someone else's, at least that was the way it was intended. Like all liberal programs, the bureaucrats saw billions coming in and were kids in a candy store spending the money on everything other than SS and Medicare. Ted Cruz raised all these issues in his Senate floor speech but Obamabots ignored the content.

LOL. I guess you have to be spoonfed.

http://www.accountablecarefacts.org...ted-by-an-aco-and-how-will-they-be-achieved-1

And this is just one of the half dozen measures I mentioned that you are stunningly unaware of.

But I love how you pretend I don't have the 'facts'.

Talk about being spoon fed which I call being brainwashed, you didn't even read the article title

What are the real cost savings that can be anticipated by an ACO and how will they be achieved?

Do you know what anticipated means? Then there is this

Name for me one Obama Administration projection that has been accurate? Name for me one program ever implemented by the Federal Govt. that cost what it was supposed to cost?

You simply have no clue as to when to stop making a fool of yourself. Are you a Chicago Community Agitator or just a corrupt Chicago political supporter?

What a shame. You spit out the information without bothering to digest it.

Let's try one more spoonful.

Open up! Here comes the airplane!

HHS touts savings from ObamaCare program - The Hill's Healthwatch

Well there you have it, if HHS says it has savings then we all know we much have savings, Interesting how the Treasury dept just doesn't show those savings for 2012. Let's see the data on those savings and where they come from. You willingly buy what you are told yet never verify what you are told. that would be very easy to do. Go to the US Treasury Website and go to the budget of the United States and show me those savings you claim were created. I have even given you the link to that site. Try doing some individual research for a change.

Hey Dittohead. Ask the other dumba** from Illinois, Durban, if Sen Cruz has government provided healthcare. As usual Durban made himself look like the idiot he is when he mistakenly thought Cruz had it.

Yum yum! Stop spitting it out!

Here comes another airplane!

Wow, ACO's working yet doctors dropping out of Medicare, who would have seen that one coming? You seem to believe shifting costs to Obamacare from Medicare is a savings in Medicare. Is that how the liberal mind works?

Now look whose being disingenious. If Obama knows how unpopular the law is then it doesn't it stand to reason that he's campaigning to educate the public and protect the law from the onslaught of right wing lies and misinformation? After all, it's not like the public actually knows what Obamacare really is in order to have an informed opinion.....

Jeez. That's wierd. I'm spoon feeding you and you keep vomiting up non sequiters.

It's almost like you have a knowledge allergy, or something. Well, at least I taught you what an ACO is. Maybe you'll understand them one day....

Look, you want to believe that ACO's are saving money, maybe they are and maybe they are just shifting costs. What we do know is that Medicare is costing a lot more than intended, doctors are dropping out of the program, some hospitals aren't taking Medicare patients which apparently you want to ignore. My doctor for 21 years doesn't take Medicare therefore I am paying for a supplemental. I can afford it, how many others can? Where is the accountability for the Obama lies that if you want to keep your doctor and healthcare play you can?

I still haven't heard a good answer to the question that, if Obamacare is so wonderful, why are Democratic congresspeople so adamant about being exempted from it?

....says the guy who just found out what an ACO was yesterday.

....says the guy who just found out what an ACO was yesterday.

You act like ACO's have been around for decades when the reality is that isn't the case as they are a new concept that you give too much credibility to. Are costs being cut or simply shifted, do you know? I don't give a damn about ACO's I care about results and access to personal doctors not ER's. You have such passion for this issue and the question is why? Do you have such support for Obama that you buy everything he says? You don't seem to understand that healthcare is a personal issue and a state expense, not a federal issue and federal expense so tell me why we even need Obamacare?

This is simply false. Cruz declined the government healthcare plan.

He did? He's not on the government provided health care plan that the rest of Congress has? Are you sure?

Does it matter? do you believe that the current govt. provided healthcare plan is Obamacare?

No, but the comment was made that Cruz doesn't have government provided health care, and that he actually declined the government healthcare plan. I was just wondering if those statements were accurate.

Not a fan of Cruz but he could of won some "cool points" by using his time to go over potential Breaking Bad endings or a "Parks and Rec" style Marvel and Star Wars movie plot instead of the predictable rightwing talking points.

Ummm. No. If you'd been following along, I've said the ACOs are a creation of the ACA and since you just found out they exist yesterday and don't seem to have increased your knowledge much more than that, it means that virtually anything you have to say about Obamacare is uninformed nonsense.

What should matter is that Congress be forced to give up whatever play they have and be put on Obamacare like everyone else is being forced to do, no exemptions at all. Amazing how such a wonderful program touted by the Obama Administration is faced with so many exemption requests, wonder why?

Yes, so that doesn't make the a govt. program that has been successful because they have been in effect for such a short period of time there is no history here to show those results or no understanding of what those results you posted actually are. Seems you cannot get away from that liberal arrogance and demonization of the opposition. I asked you for a federal social program that cost what it was supposed to cost, did what it was supposed to do and actually lowered costs. You gave me a program that has been in effect for probably a year at most and one that you have no idea where the numbers being posted came from. I call that total ignorance but not on my part.

Your passion for Obamacare is significant, the question is why? You obviously didn't realize that your contribution to Medicare will result in you being forced off your current healthcare plan when you retire. Maybe or maybe not your current doctor will take you then, but of course there is always Obamacare for you.

While I agree that Congress should have to live with whatever the rest of us have, just what that may be varies from one person to another anyway. Congress did discover that some quirk in the law did not allow their employees to have a health care program paid for by the government. Just why that was, I'm not sure, but it was something in that 2,000 page mega document that they quickly fixed.

Funny how, when it affects them directly, they can actually act and not just perform political grandstanding.

But, anyway, Obamacare is not a universal health care plan that we all have to accept. It is a mandate that everyone have health insurance, along with a plan whereby everyone could comply. Anyone with health insurance paid for by his/her employer will still have it, as long as the employer is willing to continue to pay for it. That didn't change.
