Michele Bachmann
Michele Bachmann's now an official 'Tea Party Hero'By Hart Van Denburg, Thursday, Apr. 15 2010 @ 10:03AMComments (1) Categories: Michele Bachmann

Surprised? Thought not. The Tea Party Express published its hit list today -- no Minnesotans are on it -- as well as its list of heroes.

House Candidate And Incumbent Heroes
Tom McClintock (R-CA)
Tom Price (R-GA)
Walt Minnick (D-ID)
Mike Pence (R-IN)
Michele Bachmann (R-MN)
Joe Wilson (R-SC)
Marsha Blackburn (R-TN)
Some context: The Tea Party Express -- unlike the Tea Party Patriots -- isn't exactly a grass-roots outfit. In fact, it's the creation of a Republican consulting firm. Also, these folks appear to be a clear minority species of political animal. A poll published yesterday finds that:

The 18 percent of Americans who identify themselves as Tea Party supporters tend to be Republican, white, male, married and older than 45.
The same poll found that most of the Taxed Enough Already Party folks -- 52 percent -- think their tax burden is fair.

seriously, could you explain what this all means....something else mentioned in the "Poll"....

"Tea Party supporters are wealthier and more well-educated than the general public, and are no more or less afraid of falling into a lower socioeconomic class, according to the latest New York Times/CBS News poll."

i'm just wondering if michele bachmann is really a hero to tea partiers, and which group they identify with.
