I've been a long time fan of Max Miller's YouTube channel "Tasting History" and I keep meaning to post it here.

I' finally posting because his latest episode has also become one of my all time favorite.

The story he weaves into this recipe is so funny and fascinating that I was kind of sad it concluded and the tasting portion began.

I've long watched his stuff. I was really glad he decided not to go back to Disney and continue with this channel. As a bit of a foodie I really enjoy learning about how people cooked in the (sometimes quite distant, as in this recipe) past, and it's always quite a eye-opener. Can't recommend his channel enough.

Thanks for posting!
