Tara Reade has offered to take a polygraph test if Biden will. Wow what a great suggestion.

It would be even better if it was done on live TV!!!! How about it Joe if you didnt do it you have nothing to fear.
 
She could just go ahead and take it anyway if she's telling the truth and not worry about whether Biden takes one. Wouldn't that only lend credence to her story?

While I have no love for Biden, that is absolutely correct. Totally on her to prove it and provide evidence, as it should be. If she can't provide anything, then Biden should just ignore.

Reade never filed a criminal complaint with the police. She did file a report with the Senate personnel office once saying Biden made her feel "uncomfortable" (her description ??)

The 5 Senate staffers who worked with Reade in the Biden office say she never once mentioned a sexual-harassment/sexual-attack by Biden.

Not a peep in 2008 when Biden accepted the VP slot for Obama. Not a peep from Ms. Reade from 1993 to 2019 until Biden announced his candidacy for president.

26 years of total silence.

At the time of the incident, a police report, physical evidence collect, doctor exam, etc. After so many years it comes down to she said, he said. N

I do question the timing of her coming forward. I question why she did not come forward during his VP selection.

While we are the polygraph subject, why did Ford take one and Kavanaugh didn't. Why weren't Trumpians hollering for Kavanaugh to take one - hypocrisy!

And we must add Trump to the polygraph list- he's been accused by women, Russian collusion, Ukraine.

A great suggestion for an innocent man like Trump, once and for all prove his innocence

Yep. Like a lot of the recent ones, I always question the timing. Political hit job is what I always come up with. I personally believe the zeroes finally matched the hassle she was willing to put up with by "dredging up these horrible memories."

Unfortunately, despite all the hype in movies and tv shows, lie detector tests are not really all that reliable.

First, the person giving the test is making a subjective analysis. He/she is simply testifying that to the best of their knowledge of the test, the subject was lying or telling the truth. They will point to changes recorded on the test results as support for their testimony.

However, there are many reasons for false positives/negatives in such tests, as well as they reportedly have no value when used on a pathological liar. After all, if someone either believes what they are saying, or evinces no emotion about the questions, there is nothing the examiner can properly "interpret." People can also be taught/trained to pass such tests. (Wasn't that one of the issues with Blasely-Ford?)

Second, the person giving the test is often trying to get the approval of the party paying for the test. They can be disposed toward "finding" what their employer wants, whether it be "Truth" or 'Lie." This sometimes results in a battle of the lie detector tests, with opposing parties providing evidence supporting their case for truth or lie.

Finally, IMO it is all "drama" in situations like this. Ms. Reade may be lying, she may be telling the truth, or she may be telling what she believes to be the truth after the passage of all these years.

So I don't think this matters one way or the other, except to add drama to the situation.
 
Polygraph tests are not 100% accurate. I like this summary regarding polygraph tests:
"A polygraph examination demonstrates "that the examinee believes her own story." And perhaps that's enough. A subject's willingness to even submit to an exam often reveals a level of veracity and can fill a void when the other party has not similarly submitted to an exam. "
Is a polygraph a reliable lie detector?

imo, I do not give much credence to poly test. the poly test needs to be backed up with other physical evidence. Without it. All it is telling is the person believes what they say. That may be the truth or not.

Being that she was just an intern for 9 months, she didn't pass the probation process.

Embarrassed by this Reade told friends the problems were harassment, thus deflection from her own inadequacy

Now the polygraph, a polygraph, well Ford passed one and Kavanaugh well didn't do one.

You ask for Biden to use a polygraph to prove his innocence. Well if you are not a hypocrite then Trump should prove his innocence. Involving numerous lies and corrupt actions. At least half the country thinks Trump is full of ***** , Trump prove your innocence.
