Playing in that specific park is safer than driving on the freeway. I guess this makes you a horrible parent.
Blah blah blah more wordplay to try to insinuate that his parents arent a victim. Then you try to pretend to be empathetic by stating Tamir is a victim and his parents arent. You are trying to say that his mom has no sadness for his death and is a douche for suing the cops... I dont think its very convincing at all.
Most absurd post of them all...WOW. Here is the article again. Now justify why you as a parent would feel comfortable with your child playing there without you present.
Tamir Rice's neighborhood has history of gangs, violence | cleveland.com
You're more likely to have a child killed in that park by the police than by a gang. Children should avoid the police.
Bravo!! That is the answer...while we are at it, why don't we teach them to hate LE. That will solve all the problems with community relationships with LE. Better yet, let's get rid of LE and we can police ourselves!! Move to this neighborhood and report back how safe you feel there...

But thats exactly the scenario in this scenario... This kid shuold have avoided this cop. And no gang members ever got him.... Its like you are immune to logic. Maybe you are wrong and the cop is 99% wrong? I say that its inhumane you think the mom wouldnt feel sorrow over her own kids death and you accuse me of being a crack head... lol man o man. You should prolly just stop posting.
The children of Cleveland would be safe to roam the streets and play outside with their toys. The Cleveland PD is full of cops who are mentally unstable and who beat women. Would you trust your child around a mentally unstable person with a gun or a masochist who beats women?Bravo!! That is the answer...while we are at it, why don't we teach them to hate LE. Surely you jest!! OMG!! I honestly do not know how to respond to this. Seriously?
You are speaking nonsense, as what happened years earlier has nothing to do with his reasonable response to the threat that Tamir presented.

You mean the evidence that the shooter was mentally unstable that's been submitted repeatedly or the evidence that the driver beat the crap out of a helpless woman? What kind of evidence do you need?Evidence?

Cleveland gets the reject cops that the other departments in the area don't want. That's proof enough for me. Taking into account that the Cleveland PD didn't even bother to do a rudimentary check on the shooter's employment history reinforces my point of view. The evidence that the Cleveland department is filled with woman beaters and those other things you claimed.

No. It really doesn't. You made a specific claim. Are you saying you don't have evidence that the department is FILLED with them?
When I called the Cleveland PD to find out how to get access to the personnel files of the entire department a woman who was slurring her speech answered. She said no questions and hung up on me. She sounded drunk or on meds but I wouldn't rule out a bad connection.
I could have tried again but navigating a government ivr system is too time consuming. I put more effort into it than it deserved. The cops didn't give Tamir the benefit of the doubt.
Tamir Rice: judge finds cause for murder charge over police killing of 12-year-old | US news | The Guardian
Just saw this on my local news as well (Channel 12, CBS, Cincinnati)
Judge Ronald Adrine of the Cleveland Municipal Court said there were grounds to prosecute Officer Timothy Loehmann with murder....
I don't know if murder is going to fly but the shooting looked really bad and charges should be brought as well as a massive law suit
You can not show that he didn't.Do you think he demonstrated proper tactics?
You can not show that he didn't.
And his response to the threat that Tamir presented was proper.
I see you didn't pay attention to what was said. It was even underlined so you wouldn't miss it. :dohActually I can. Would YOU drive right up on someone who has a loaded firearm after reports of "threatening with gun?"
I see you didn't pay attention to what was said. It was even underlined so you wouldn't miss it. :doh
But no, you actually can't.
He was not the driver. Duh!
And responding to the threat that Tamir presented would still be proper even had he been the driver.
So stop talking nonsense.
Irrelevant to his reasonable response to the threat Tamir presented. So was the action of the driver acceptable?
Irrelvant to his reasonable response to the threat Tamir presented.Did the shooter already have his gun out?
Irrelevant to his reasonable response to the threat Tamir presented. How long between arrival and shot?
What command was issued?
Irrelevant to his reasonable response to the threat Tamir presented.Additionally: did dispatch fail to report all relevant details?
We can see in the video that he was grabbing for his gun which is just a confirmation of what the Officer supposedly said. And how did the kid respond?
