While there's no solid proof (yet), I can't help but wonder, how DeSantis, went from beating Andrew Gilliam, by 1.0 to 1.5 percent, to beating Crist by almost 20 points??

Is the trick now, especially in Red Southern States, to rig the margin of victory so badly that less people will question it? Instead of as close as 4 of the last 7 POTUS Elections have
been? Where that invited those kind of rigging questions?

Not only him, but come on, even though, this was 3 years ago instead of last year, Graham, begging for money at 1 point, in SC, most polls showed him leading by only a few points but he wins
by 12 at the end? McConnell too who wound up "winning" by 20 points where his popularity was around 20% in KY and no polls had the race that far ahead for him.

To show that I'm not a total hack about this, Paul beating Booker in KY by the margin he did, sadly, looks legit.

But some of these other ones?? Yea, Christ was a bad candidate, however, I don't think he legitmately lost by as much as he did. DeSantis barely won in 2018, what changed so much for him to have such a romp (eyeroll) 4 years later?

What should concern everyone who believes in Democracy is if one of these MAGA like guys (or even some Republican in between MAGA and sane Republican) gets the WH again like DeSantis, guess what? They will never leave. Just like Russia, elections will just be sham elections.

I think it was a couple of things. A lousy lack lustre competitor, a very poorly organized Democratic ground game and the Cuban American vote which is a hugely anti-Democratic party. If you look at turnout numbers Dems stayed home. I don't think there was anything untoward happening.

I really don't think more 'rigging' talk is helpful. Focus on stuff that affects elections for which there is evidence, like gerrymandering, fiddling with poll station locations/hours, fiddling with drop box locations/hours, the laws around ballots being obtained/mailed in, any election-related laws being changed close to election day, etc.

If a bunch of non-Trumpists nakedly talk about "rigging", it'll help Trumpists feel like "hey, they do it too! Hypocrites! We were right to talk about rigging!"....and no, they were not right to do so.

I dont think DeathSantis’ election win was rigged. Aided by the KKK, yes we have definite proof of that.
