Rep. Eric Swalwell suggested Tuesday that President Trump was behind Axios' bombshell report revealing that he was one of several politicians who was entangled with someone suspected to be a Chinese spy.

Axios reported on Monday that a Chinese national named Fang Fang or Christine Fang targeted up-and-coming local politicians, including Swalwell, D-Calif.

Fang reportedly took part in fundraising for Swalwell's 2014 reelection campaign although she did not make donations nor was there evidence of illegal contributions.

According to Axios, investigators became so alarmed by Fang’s behavior and activities that they alerted Swalwell in 2015 to their concerns, and gave him a “defensive briefing.” Swalwell then cut off all ties with Fang and has not been accused of any wrongdoing, according to an official who spoke to the outlet.

The FBI is setting up a team specifically investigate foreign intelligence operations at state and local levels. Clearly our adversaries look to latch onto promising National candidates.

Now will what is left of the GOP allow the FBI to do its job or will we hear an endless barrage of whiny DEEEEEEP STAAAAAATE horse crap. Interested parties want to know.

The OP picked the target for this thead. I did't. Maybe he should have picked Feinstein for his blather instead of Swalwell. Not my problem.

we're not, until its possible one of them... likely even, its apparently known that she is... is an enemy spy who is trying to hurt our country by using our supposed leaders.
 
Regarding Swalwell, I saw a clip of him questioning Comey at a hearing and he was asking about typical things foreign infiltrators do.
His implication involved Russia with Trump, or course.
So ... there he was listing a series of such tactics and Comey was agreeing as he went along.
Now ... it appears Swalwell had experienced those tactics himself with the Chinese babe but wasn't aware of it ... well, maybe he wasn't aware of it.
Keep in mind Swalwell did the Chinese spy babe way back in 2014 or so.
And Comey was head FBI honcho back then so he must've known Swalwell got the warning.
And there he was answering questions about imaginary Russia spy events when he had and his questioner had first hand knowledge of actual Chinese spy events.
Sweet irony.

Its a free society. YOUR country should try it some time. Its hard to manage. In fact its the antithesis of management.

The FBI is on the case having assigned a task force specifically for that purpose.

Now a sitting President trying to overthrow the Republic from the Federal seat of power which we just went through....now that is SERIOUS BUSINESS.
