for once i'd like to see a ruling on the merit, and not the court procedure. So the stay is lifted -does that mean no transgender in the military?
I think it does , but would be happy to hear other conclusions

The Supreme Court on Tuesday sided with the Trump administration in lifting a lower court order that paused the Pentagon's transgender military ban from taking effect – allowing Trump's order and related policies to proceed, at least.

The high court ruling is a near-term victory for the White House, even as it did not address the underlying merits of the case or President Donald Trump's Jan. 27 executive order banning transgender service members from the U.S. military.

Trump's executive order would require the Defense Department to update its guidance regarding "trans-identifying medical standards for military service" and to "rescind guidance inconsistent with military readiness."

So if you're a directionless high school graduate you can sign up for taxpayer funded employment and benefits. If you're a confused, directionelss high school student you cannot.

Transgender troops make up 0.7% (seven-tenths of one percent) of the military (Active Component and Selected Reserve). The gender breakdown of trans gender troops is 22% trans gender men (who joined the military as women) and 78% transgender women (who joined the military as men).

BIG BIG WIN!

Why do you think that is relevant?
WHY? Because the orange dictator made such a HUGE deal about it, and it's anything but a huge deal. 7-tenths of one percent is next to NOTHING.

I guess nobody should really care one way or the other then.

Right?
