2019 called, they want their street anarchists back

What Was Old Is New Again

Well they don't have the ability to win at the ballot box and this is going to be even more true going forward.

Many blue states were on the verge of some serious budget problems back in 2019. They were magically "saved" by COVID. Same thing for the ballot box.

No one is falling for that scam again though.

So now they have to win elections, and they can't. They have no successes, no proper policies, no candidates that can even sound coherent and so they need to threaten to burn it down again.

Good point about the COVID -- I wish they'd formally investigate how it started, and hold people like Fauci accountable.

It's almost as if someone should have seen this coming, no.

No, this time, should riots happen, is different. This time Trump is deliberately and intentionally instigating the unrest and then playing Mr. Strongman by using the military to quell them.

Perhaps if Trump was a capable leader, there wouldn’t be civil unrest across the country while he is in charge 🤷‍♀️

This is the result of incompetent leadership.

Actual leaders are able to create peaceful resolutions and de-escalate situations.

I've seen some people dancing around some fires and a few people throw stuff at cars, but it's quite a stretch to define it as rioting.

This is a riot:

If somebody asks me to riot, I will not do so. Those people are rioting because they want to.

You are deliberately masking their free agency -- ie. their ability to choose their own actions -- in order to absolve them of responsibility for choosing to riot.

"On Jan 6, no cop cars were burnt. Now, we're seeing all kinds of cars being burnt, never mind just cop cars. Stores are being looted do.

If you choose to loot and destroy someone else's business, that they worked hard to build, you are doing something evil, and you are responsible for doing it.

Next you'll tell me, "Aww, hell, I was so upset I raped some gal on the street! But I blame Trump for this -- after all, he upset me!"

The rationalizations are absurd and only destroy the credibility of those making them. That's why the Dems lost the election.
