States tighten, loosen gun laws after Newtown

According to some people, no states are loosening gun laws they are only tightening them don't ya know?

Sadly I'm living in one of the Anti-2nd Amendment states listed, MD where we get fingerprinted like criminals if we buy a handgun.

Off Topic: Cutie in the photo holding the AR needs some ProActiv.

The ignorant maybe, these loosening laws are in the news. Who are these people you speak of?

They should be loosened.

I was making a reference to a previous thread where several people claimed that the country was slowly moving towards tighter and tighter gun laws, on the individual state level that is true for some states, but taking the country and all 50 states as a whole clearly its not only moving in one direction.

Thank goodness, give me my guns.

Ive seen a whole lot of discussion on gun control since Sandy Hook. Ive seen people upset that the feds are tightening controls and Ive seen people upset amny states are tightening controls. Can you point out some instances where anyone ANYWHERE has said some states arent responding to the efforts by the fed by strengthening gun owners rights? Id like to see who those posters are.

The federal government as a whole is and many states are. Do you deny that?

And yet again...another thread where you just trip over yourselves to take the 'other side'...you know...because you are such a strong pro gun type. :lamo

You may have missed it because I said in another thread that if the citizens of the UK want to remove the ban on the sale of hand guns they should be allowed to do so. I may not fit easily into your binary thought process where everyone is either anti or pro gun in your mind, but that's your fault for not being able to think beyond such a simple model of the world.

That is an excellent signature you have there.

So...no actual posters here stating that no states are fighting back and resisting the fed attempts to further restrict gun laws then?

Who is making this claim?

Who is making this claim?
No one. He pretty much admitted he just opened his mouth and his steady stream of anti gun owner rhetoric spilled out. He was in too big of a hurry to show what a 'real' gun owner looks like.
