Interesting fact, given the Colbert flap:

The parent company of South Park is Paramount Global.Specifically, South Park is owned and operated by Comedy Central, which is a part of Paramount's domestic network division, MTV Entertainment Group. Paramount also owns the Paramount+ streaming service where new episodes of South Park are available.

Yeah, I'd recently thought his Epstein distractions resembled Saddam's first appearance in South Park.

"Hey buddy, relax! You need a break! Look over there!"

This would make sense why Trump was obsessed about Arnold Palmer's penis size.
No matter which of a dozen different facets you may choose to view the Trump crystal, he is still one sick ****. Intellectually, emotionally, sexually, psychologically, spiritually, et al, his entire life seems to scream "I Am Severely Developmentally Disabled!" in every imaginable way.

The growth and development of those in his cult are equally stunted. That is the reason they remain so irresistibly attracted to him.
They are all grotesquely kindred souls.

there was another one that was live action that they released as a promo that had his dick talking.
It was also pretty funny.

I've watched every single episode of South Park and all the specials. Matt and Trey are incredibly funny guys and they take on all targets.

That said they've got a weird blind spot when it comes to trying to make fun of Trump and they miss the mark every single time. That last episode was scattershot cringe that made no sense at all. Comedy to be funny has to be grounded in some sort of truth, some sort of bit of normal that you are exploding, mocking, exaggerating and so on.

So the things that made this episode not work....

First Trump is never actually Trump. For those of you that don't watch first Trump was Mr Garrison. Now Trump is clearly Saddam Hussein. The voice and mannerism are from that past character which is also why he was with Satan.

So "Trump" is pushing Christianity into all the schools while also being the gay lover of Satan.
PC Principal has gone from the most ardent defender of Woke/Political Correctness to deeply religious and trying to convert all the students.
Jesus actually doesn't even want to be in the schools, but he was forced there in a settlement with "Trump".
The people of South Park are briefly "outraged" and speak out but quickly settle with Trump for about 3 million dollars.
Cartman is sad that NPR was cancelled because in his mind it was like a liberal Colbert Report and he thought it the funniest show out there.
Cartman and Butters are trying to kill themselves with carbon monoxide poisoning but Butter's parents own an EV.

I'm pretty sure the Cartman/suicide/EV bit was even previously done.

I'll say the only area where they really pushed the envelope and it could be trouble/interesting/weird and wow was that they used a clear realistic deep fake of Trump basically walking through the desert, getting naked and showing his penis.

The penis talks but I could see them being on some troubled ground there not for the jokes or subject but the presentation. I'm pretty sure this would be the concern with any other public figure or politician as well.

I'd give it about a 3 out of 10.

South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone have finalized a $1.5 billion deal with Paramount Global, securing the show's future for the next five years. The agreement includes 50 new episodes to be produced for Comedy Central, while all existing South Park episodes will become exclusively available on Paramount+ in the US. This deal also encompasses the entire South Park library, making it accessible on Paramount+ globally.

Ok, so what?

Loved the first South Park episode for 2025 crushing the psychopath occupying the White House.

Watched it this evening. In terms of content it's not their best work but as a resounding "**** YOU" to Taco, Paramount, and anyone who backs down when he sues it's perfect.

Has anyone done a wellness check on ketchup bottles at Mar a Lago?

Agreed. It was a bit silly and over the top at times but it sure got lots of eyeballs!

Given how much Taco judges by ratings, this ought to boil his bacon:

How long before he demands South Park is cancelled?

How long before he demands South Park is cancelled?
Not long. Though the 1st-Amendment-Violating part of the agreement that gives the government the power to censor Paramount currently applies to the news division, not any entertainment divisions.
