This is hypocrisy at it's finest. Shooting protesters is different than shooting looters. I say this as your former orange man says he'll pardon insurrectionist for votes.Go out, destroy some shit, loot, terrorize innocent people and burn their businesses.
Then when the Police have to come in and roust your deadbeat rear end....thats when you go for aThug Lotto Payout .
man, what a great country! Land of opportunity!!

or even a President who thinks that a dictator is going to shake in his boots at the mere mention of "sanctions."
Yeah those rubber bullets were shot into people’s eyes and bursted them…..AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — A Texas grand jury indicted 19 Austin police officers on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon for their actions during 2020 protests over racial injustice that spread nationwide following the killing of George Floyd, according to people familiar with the matter.Multiple people spoke to The Associated Press Thursday on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the case publicly. Austin Police Association President Ken Casaday confirmed 19 officers are facing charges but did not have details. It ranks among the most indictments on a single police department in the U.S. over tactics used by officers during the widespread protests — methods that led to the resignation or ouster of several police chiefs across the country.Word of the indictments came hours after Austin city leaders approved paying $10 million to two people injured by members of the 1,640-officer department in the protests, including a college student who suffered brain damage after an officer shot him with a beanbag round.Combined, the charges and settlements amounted to conservative Texas’ liberal capital of 960,000 people taking some of its biggest actions as criticism still simmers over its handling of the protests, which intensified pressure on then-Police Chief Brian Manley to eventually step down......Chacon stressed that his command staff had prepared officers to face hundreds of people when thousands actually showed up to protests that he said were at times “riotous and violent.”“I am not aware of any conduct, that given the circumstances that the officers were working under, would rise to the level of a criminal violation by these officers,” Chacon said. But beanbag rounds fired by officers did not always perform “in the manner anticipated,” Chacon said, and his agency now prohibits the use of “less lethal munitions in crowd-control situations.”The settlements approved Thursday are among the largest paid to people who were injured by police across the U.S. during massive protests that followed Floyd’s death. The largest of the Austin settlements gives $8 million to Justin Howell, who was 20 years old when police shot him with a beanbag round. Family members told the AP following the incident that Howell suffered a cracked skull and brain damage, leaving him in critical condition for multiple days. The city will also pay $2 million to Anthony Evans, who was 26 when an Austin police officer shot him with a beanbag round in a separate incident, which resulted in extensive medical treatment in his jaw.
A start, I guess.

Gosh, that never should have happened.
And it never would have, if the rioters and looters had simply heeded many many warnings to disperse or ultimately be dispersed by potentially dangerous means.
They should've used their noggins for something besides bean bag catchers IMO.
Enjoy your payout. -smh-
You think being shot with a beanbag round and being left brain-damaged
Our more conservative posters are not aware that there were peaceful protests in the wake of the George Floyd murder. Blissfully unaware.
This is bullshit by the DA flub-up Garza.AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — A Texas grand jury indicted 19 Austin police officers on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon for their actions during 2020 protests over racial injustice that spread nationwide following the killing of George Floyd, according to people familiar with the matter.Multiple people spoke to The Associated Press Thursday on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the case publicly. This is bullshit by the DA flub-up Garza.
Late Thursday night, Fox News obtained the list of APD officers Garza has indicted and the charges they all face. All 19 face first degree felony charges, despite the fact that all but one of them had been investigated and cleared of any wrongdoing in the actions they took in response to the riots. One of them, Justin Berry, is in the midst of a primary race for the Texas House of Representatives as a Republican, raising questions about Garza’s timing.
As Austin homicides rise 19 cops are hit with felony charges, police officers furious: 'new war on cops'
Violent crime has been on the rise in the Texas capital since the early stages of the COVID pandemic, and accelerated when the Democrat-controlled city council voted unanimously to slash the Austin Police Department’s funding by about $150 million, or about a third of its budget in August 2020.www.foxnews.com
Too bad your media sucks so much. The more liberal posters are "unaware" of the "peaceful protests" too, because peaceful protests are not what happened.
C'mon JB. Real Talk brah.
Too bad your media sucks so much.
Well gosh fella, they completely destroyed the downtown of the city down the street from here. Businesses of innocent residents were completely destroyed, a couple of people were murdered. It was all over the local news, with the same thing playing out all over the country. What am I supposed to do not notice? There were millions and millions of dollars in damage down.
I didnt have to watch anything about "Portland" on TV, this was going on right near me in my local city.
Thankfully, I have a nice little place about 20 minutes out of town. I'm gonna be OK!!
I dont support these lawless thugs of the BLM Burn, Loot and Murder.
