Source: Obama given detailed intelligence for a year about rise of ISIS

As I said... a paid hack. Thank you for emphasizing it for me.

May explain how Obama got elected and reelected, uninformed and misinformed voters going to the polls.

At this point what difference does it make ? ISIS is JV. :lamo

Or maybe, as you pointed out about your hero bush did to Osama earlier in this thread, if we just freezed their assets then we can just ignore them.

12 Jetliners missing after Islamic radicals seized the airport in Tripoli ?

Wow, turns out qualifications matter when electing a President

But Isis is JV, right ?

Then can you explain why Terrorism is up by 59% from 2010 -2013?

I'm having difficulty verifying your assertion; basically, the latest figures I can find for terrorism statistics are from 2011, and the trend is mostly downward.

INCIDENTS OF TERRORISM, WORLDWIDE*
2007 2008 2009 2010 2011
Attacks worldwide 14,415 11,663 10,968 11,641 10,283
Country Reports on Terrorism 2011 National Counterterrorism Center: Annex of Statistical Information

The Washington Post has a graph, total and fatal terrorist attacks in the US by year, 1970 to 2011, which does not show the increase either.
Eight facts about terrorism in the United States - The Washington Post

History shows it was the W. Bush administration who signed the 2008 SOFA for the withdrawal of all US troops by Dec. 2011.

Mornin 29A. :2wave: Here is what the RAND Corporation has to say on it.

Terrorism Flourishes During Obama Years.....

RAND Documents Rise of Terrorism Under Obama

Seth Jones, the associate director of the International Security and Defense Policy Center at the RAND Corp., released a report yesterday called "A Persistent Threat: The Evolution of al Qa'ida and Other Salafi-Jihadists." In a WSJ op-ed yesterday about the report, Jones reports, without mentioning Obama's repeated claims of having al Qaeda "on the run," that "The number of al Qaeda and other jihadist groups and fighters are growing, not shrinking.... From 2010 to 2013 the number of jihadist groups world-wide has grown by 58%, to 49 from 31; the number of jihadist fighters has doubled to a high estimate of 100,000; and the number of attacks by al Qaeda affiliates has increased to roughly 1,000 from 392."

Jones claims that Russia, China, and Iran all pose dangers to the US, but "these nations are not to our knowledge actively plotting attacks against the American homeland. A handful of terrorist groups, however, remain dedicated to attacking the U.S. at home and overseas.... Ayman al-Zawahiri remains committed to striking the U.S. He is flanked by a number of Americans, such as Abdullah al-Shami and Adam Gadahn, who support that goal." He identifies the threats to the US, itself, as coming primarily from groups operating in Yemen, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Syria, referencing Moner Mohammad Abusalha, an American who was a member of the al Qaeda affiliate organization al-Nusra, who blew himself up in a suicide bombing in Syria on March 29.....snip~

Terrorism Flourishes During Obama Years

A disgruntled pentagon official, on the anonymous, tells FAUX News this! Or its just more evidence that US ME policy is facilitating militant Islamic groups as has been the case for over three decades.

Howdy MMC! US policy in the ME has given rise to militant Islamic groups for decades. This isn't just Obama.

U.S. Democracy Promotion Policy in the Middle East: the Islamist Dilemma

And this changes, how much it has increased from 2010-2013, did ya say?

Not at all. There's no question that its worse during that time. The point is that the removal of Hussein was a catalyst, but more than just that, years of support of militant Islamic groups is paying the dividends. Partisan finger pointing will NEVER solve anything. Bush, removed MEK from the terror list and trained them in Nevada. Reap what you sow.

I didn't forget, and one still must look at how this will impact the next 3 or 4 years and what comes out of in the next decade. Which then as you already know.....the microscope becomes the magnifying glass. Which then goes down on BO peeps timeline.....and how he always had it wrong. Kind of like Carter. But worse.

Back in 2004 G.W. Bush was POTUS and Al Qaeda and Islamist radicals were being decimated and were on the run.

Any thing else ?

"decimated and on the run" "radicals" "islamists"

GWB didn't do jack ****, maybe to morons he did.

last I recall, osama bin laden got the hammer from obama not bush.

Yeah, partisan finger pointing accomplishes nothing and partisan support for wrong doing ensures more. US policy, I don't give a damn which party has the White House, has been destabilisation in the ME. This is risky business, every. Once in a while you may have a group who gets a little big for their britches as IS has.

Its clear whoever get the Presidency will have a bigger mess to clean up.....due to BO's meddling and screw ups with allies. Democrat or Republican. The Demos see it for what it is and have been sounding off. Which is why those up for the Midterm.....avoid being seen with him.

Here's the deal. People are sheep and will support the party, no matter what. Before 911, Bush had an intelligence report that al-Queda was going to strike and did nothing about it. Then 911 happened. Democrats attacked Bush, and Republicans defended him. Flash forward to today, when we find out that Obama has been given intelligence about ISIS, and has done nothing. And what's happening? Republicans are attacking him, and Democrats are defending him. This thread, just like the one about Bush years ago, is just another partisan circle jerk. Yup, just like the Bush threads, only the roles have been reversed.

Okay... I guess it's this time:

All because you salivate over an anonymous sourced story written by an extreme political hack organization.

... Tin foil hats are for aliens and conpiracies: things that are so improbable so as to be ridiculous. There has been a large purging of the military, top to bottom. I don't have many military contacts, but all of the ones I do have (active & retired) agree that a purge has been ongoing for a while.

References, please. And when you provide references, make sure that they're not instances where some wingnut refers to his own column as proof, or refers to some other wingnut blog as proof. Make sure that there's some kind of official proof of what you claim.

Have fun!

It's known as "Bush's Secret War Against Al Qaeda." In layman terms your not suppose to know and unlike Obama, Bush didn't politicize the war against Al Qaeda.

As for Obama getting Bin Laden, according to Leon Panetta the evidence that led to finding Bin Laden was gathered during the Bush administration. Some of it from waterbording. If you remember when Obama became POTUS he stopped capturing high ranking Al Qaeda so intelligence could be gathered. Probably because Obama refused to send any more captured terrorist to Gitmo. Back in 2012 even a CIA whistle blower warned that the Obama administration has been completely relying on intelligence gathered during the Bush administration and that intelligence is drying up.

It was Admiral McRaven who issued the order for the Navy SEAL's to go in and get Bin Laden, not Obama. For over three months the Obama administration knew where Bin Laden was the Navy Seal's were ready to go in and according to Navy SEAL's they were ordered two or three times to stand down. White House rumors say it was Valerie B. Jarrett who was responsable.

Eventually Obama threw it on Leon Panetta's lap who then threw it on Admiral McRaven's lap. Obama was playing golf and was completely unaware that the helicopters were in the air after Admiral McRaven issued the order to initiate the mission. Obama was out of the loop.

All you have to do is look at the photo of Obama and his incompetent team in the White House sistuation room that night, every one in the photo looked completely clueless except for Gates and the Air Force officer looking at his laptop. Obama wasn't even sitting in the CnC chair, because he wasn't even in charge.

And don't forget the memo that Time Magazine got there hands on.

>" The memo puts all control in the hands of Admiral McRaven – the “timing, operational decision making and control” are all up to McRaven. So the notion that Obama and his team were walking through every stage of the operation is incorrect. The hero here was McRaven, not Obama. And had the mission gone wrong, McRaven surely would have been thrown under the bus...."<

Easy money.....and here from one of the Left leaning MS Media sources out there. Oh and for the rest on Benghazi.....you can look up the 8-12 threads we have and see all that information.....in each one of them. As we didn't want the naysayers to think they were getting around those facts.

Oh and you can look up the Guardian, the Independent and the BBC.....including Politi Fact and Fact Check.Org Benghazi Timelines, for what those in Libya went on to say. Which the Interim for Libya was even making the Sunday Talks shows here in the US.

Obama, al-Maliki to address Iraq's violence spike at White House meeting

Iraq's prime minister, facing an insurgent al Qaeda affiliate and sectarian strife, will appeal to President Barack Obama on Friday for new assistance from the United States, even as some lawmakers question Nuri al-Maliki's ability to lead his nation. A fresh rise in suicide bombers affiliated with al Qaeda has left more than 6,000 people dead this year alone, according to United Nations estimates. Violence has been on the upswing: On Wednesday, a suicide bomber killed at least nine people and wounded 25 others at a police checkpoint west of Mosul.

Al-Maliki is expected to ask for assistance in the form of weapons, equipment and intelligence-sharing in a bid to quell the bloodshed, two years after the United States withdrew almost all its troops from Iraq after Baghdad refused to renew a security agreement to extend legal immunity for American forces.....snip~

Libs live in their own fantasy world. Dont like the message? Attack the messenger, blame bush.

Just admit bho incompetence and move on. Is what it is.

Don't be so hard on Clinton.

And Obama learned avow Isis when WE learned about Isis.

You're right.

Obama's foreign policy incompetence means that Lybia is now a Country run by Islamic extremists. They even took over Tripoli Airport and have absconded with 12 passenger jets.

Yep. Egypt and UAE have had to respond militarily. Something that wasn't necessary when Gaddafi was there. Btw, regime change in Libya unfortunately was supported by the right, too.

And there it is. My question would be, why do Americans hold the party above our security, our liberties, our integrity, our values. And why don't Americans hold all administrations to accountability? Partisans ARE the American problem, for without their support, no administration would get away with incompetence and wrong doing.

Not quite.....the Tea Party wasn't for it other than Ted Cruz and that's when Rand Paul and Johnny Quest McCain got into it with their verbal gaffs. Also there were quite a few against it that were establishment Repubs.
