So the last week some of us thought "maybe this is what will finally break the spell Trump has over the MAGA faithful".

He is actually more popular with MAGA now than before the Epstein coverup.

Trump's meltdown against the base was only yesterday. Plus I think before then the base believed he would do the right thing ad release it. We'll see how it plays over the next week. It will either "perc"up or die.

The best way to make trump unpopular would be to shut all news down...........in a month , or less, his ratings would fall due to lack of exposure. This is why he does/says something outrageous every day or two---it gets attention.

Trump committing crimes, sex offenses, treason, etc, means nothing to Trumpers........they just want to upset the imaginary "liberals" they think are out there, at the expense of their country..........

Trumpers are pathetic.....
 
I thought for once they might use their own brains and stick with their years long convictions. Nope, folded like a deck of cards on their leaders insistence. Must be weird not having any core values to stand by.
 
Silver has him at net -8.2%, down slightly. That includes this latest poll.

RCP has him at -5%, minimal change since last week.

Granted, Fox is apparently refusing to mention Epstein's name. However, it was only yesterday that Trump pissed all over his most rabid followers. I seriously doubt they're just going to roll over immediately.

My guess is that perhaps 15-20% of Americans are die-hard MAGA, so losing a few of them probably won't make a huge difference in national polls.

A 2 and 3 percent rise, when the margin of error is +/- 6 points. LOL!

Not to mention that poll was taken on 6/14, which I believe was sometime prior to when he decided to call them all stupid.
 
Well it is a cult so…

He has said he could shoot someone in the middle of 5th Ave and not lose voters but he could shoot hundreds of people in the middle of 5th Ave and after praising him for his magnificent aim they’d accuse all the people he shot of being democrats who intentionally got in the way of his bullet just to try to make him look bad.

We are an instinctively tribal species. MAGA won't move on from Trump until there is a replacement for the tribe to move to, which likely will not be until the 2028 election.
