I see posts from time to time that come out as gibberish. Here is an example post that looks like this to me:

Any ideas?

He accidentally posted his password?

No, I saw similar rare examples with other posters, and in this specific case, I saw another poster reply to his as if it makes sense...

I tried the link on Edge (no VPN) and Firefox (VPN) and the image shows up fine. I don't have Chrome installed.

Seems that is a image post, here is the link to the image without the H at the beginning.

Looks like maybe it's from twitter(?), not sure why you can't see it though, it shows for me.

Below is a different image from pbs.twimg.com as a test for you.

What do you see now?

I see this:

@Airyaman , so, what are these things? How do you generate these? What's the direct link to these?

I don't have a twitter account. Is that it?

Update: Actually, I just went directly to

and could see it just fine in my browser window. So if you embed this in your message correctly (with "h"), perhaps I would be able to see this one.

It may be due to the ongoing problems with Xitter? I cannot reproduce it with two other browsers.

Don't think so. My Xitter account is not "active" in Edge or Firefox and I could see the photo in the post. I'm thinking if anything perhaps the problems Xitter is having today might be a potential cause.

FWIW I don't have account either, yet can see the images and posts from there on DP just fine.

Might be time to call in the experts here. :unsure:

It's not from just today. I've been seeing this for some time now.

Where do you get these links - what's the real URL you are linking to? Are these from twitter?

Unlike you, I consistently post gibberish no matter the time of day.

MAGA.
It's a maga thing. Once you have been deprogrammed out of the cult and returned to normal society you will be fine again.

Ok, so if I go directly to

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Glr5TqQW4AA-Yvg?format=jpg&name=small

I can see it in my browser.

I'll try to insert it now like you do below:

==========================================================================

ss1.jpg
==========================================================================

but I cannot even insert it since I am getting this when trying to insert the url without https:

==========================================================================
ss2.jpg
==========================================================================

Even when I paste whole URL into the box, including "https://", it gives the same error message as above.

Strange.

When I try

http://pbs.twimg.com/media/Glr5TqQW4AA-Yvg?format=jpg&name=small (without "S" in https), my browser redirects to "httpS" (which again displays just fine on its own). Don't know if this is part of the issue here since the link box assumes "http" prefix but perhaps does not auto-redirect to "https"?

Right click and use my browser's (Brave) copy image function.

In your post #16 here your showed you are pasting some URL but it's not clear from that picture what it starts with.

Thanks for confirming. Yes, I thought so, but wanted to double check (since the link thingie says it assumes "http://" in front..

Ok well, perhaps @RedAkston or someone else knowledgeable can advise.
Have you tried a different browser or clearing your cache? No one else is reporting the issue (that I know of), so that would suggest something on your end.
