So now the election side show has been replaced by the cabinet sideshow continuing to suck the air out of Democracy with irrelevance.

Who cares about election candidates and all the President elect's chosen cabinet & administration yes men & women? The issues are what matters to the voters, but get gridlocked, procrastinated & suffocated by the ego trips of people feuding over power grabs. Every day that goes by the news is swamped with garbage about politicians, their henchmen, their personal & sex lives, their professional misconduct etc. etc. ad nauseam instead of issues that affect voter's lives. It's more like a soap opera than a democracy of the people, by the people.

It's time to replace candidates with issues on election ballots and hire government positions based on ability, achievement, experience, and merit, and fire corrupted & underperforming hires immediately, like a business, instead of having guaranteed terms to wreak havoc and screw things up in ways that are irreversible to the affected victims & voters like abortion bans. The USA needs to upgrade to a more direct democracy where the voter decide each line item issue separately and the hired help executed those decisions instead of manipulating them, burying them in a package deal of legislation, and selling their congressional votes to satisfy the biggest donor to their advantage.

I see your point but please don't change anything regarding the American Shitshow. It is pure entertainment for the rest of the world. Here in Switzerland, where democracy actually exists, we are laughing our asses off at how completely ****ed up the American political system really is. Stuff like Joe Biden bumbling around the world not knowing where he is, and Kamala Harris being more fake than press on nails. Come on, where does the left find their politicians? And now the rest of the world is laughing hysterically at all the lefties losing their shit on social media, each trying to be more psychotic than the last. How hysterical can one get over politics? We're finding out. This is comedy gold, please don't change anything.

We don't need competent bureaucrats. We need less bureaucrats. To say you are good at bureaucracy is damning yourself with faint praise.

What makes you say we need less bureaucrats?

The bureaucracy
