Turns out: almost exactly.

When Project 2025 first came out, the nation was shocked at its radical and extremist nature. Donald Trump the candidate at the time, however, distanced himself from it and reassured the nation that he had "nothing to do with" the initiative spearheaded by the Heritage Foundation, had not read it and didn't have any plans to.

“On the campaign trail, the president called some of its proposals "abysmal" and said he knew nothing about it, though CBS News' analysis showed many of its proposals were similar to his own.”

But actions speak, louder than words. So how do his actions so far in his first hundred days line up with the agenda of project 2025 so far? It turns out: almost exactly.

“But as the president marks 100 days in the White House, many of the plans he has rolled out since the start of his second term closely align with those in the pages of Project 2025's sprawling, 900-page policy blueprint, which lays out an overhaul of the executive branch.”

This article shows how the Trump presidency so far has been following the blueprint of Project 2025 almost line-by-line and to the letter.

America is like the proverbial frog in the pot of hot water: the temperature is getting gradually increased and it’s not realizing the things that were shocking it even a few months ago are just things it’s learning to tolerate. It’s turning into something unrecognizable and it’s not doing anything about it. It’s just sitting there complacently getting cooked by Trump.

Yes, but unlike proverbial frogs, real frogs hop out of the pot. Let's hope we're as smart as those frogs.

The denial from Trump supporters about Project 2025 was strong wasn't it? We will never get an honest answer in here but I wonder if they agree with it or not?

Normal people would approve of about 80% of that list. You lot are lucky Trump is shooting himself in the foot with the tariffs.

No, they don’t. Only a small radical fringe approves it.

The only way it’s getting shoved down America’s throat now is in a clandestine and gradual way, like the proverbial frog in the pot. Yay freedom.

The next post answers your question.

Speaking of which: just reminds me a lot of how Trump’s Supreme Court picks in his first term distanced themselves from abortion rights and told us that of course “it was established law”. But then as soon as they got into power, they overturned before anyone even knew what happened.

America’s good cooked by Trump. Don’t believe anything he says. Watch what he’s doing.

It’s hard to call Trump. Stupid and underestimate him. He may think at the fourth grade level, but he knows how to implement his ideas very effectively. He’s like a fourth grader behind a very powerful bulldozer.

Not really.

A majority of Americans now overwhelmingly oppose Project 2025.

By a 40-point margin, Americans now oppose Project 2025 (52 percent oppose – 12 percent support), including 43 percent who say they strongly oppose it.

And this was before the election.
I would bet the percentage opposed is even higher now.

Where did I do that?
You said 80% of normal people approve of the items in that list. That list involves unprecedented use of presidential power. So are you saying you don't agree with normal people, or you don't agree with the list? It can't be both.

That’s a hard no. Sorry.
