I'm an Arts Major at Rice that loves to hang out at the beach. Oddly, I spend more time on the beaches in and around Corpus than Houston or Galveston although Kemah is rockin.

I've very open-minded and rarely take anything for face value. There are spins, sides, and extenuating circumstances on everything that happens in our lil' world. Only a fool stops trying to learn.

anyways, :2wave: :2razz:

Holy $hit! gurl, I went to Rice! Man-o-man, I loved that place. I have never been surrounded by more interesting, intelligent people in my life. How do you like it?

I am so happy to hear that. I was there a long time ago (I just went to my 15th reunion last November), and I am recommending my 2nd cousin to go there. So I needed to hear that it's still a great place to be. My closest friends are those with whom I went to Rice.

I miss Pappasitos, Goode Company BBQ, and Taco Cabana. ;) What restaurant do you work at??

OMG.. Goode rawks !. Add Pappadeaux, BerryHill Baja Grill, and Central Market's Deli and Cafe and what else would you need to survive? lol I work at Texas Land & Cattle

You won't have any regrets about your cousin. I love my Rice friends and I can so see myself saying, "My closest friends are those with whom I went to Rice" in a few years...Where are you living now?

I live in the Washington, DC, area (when I went to Rice, I was coming from Massachusetts). I had planned to move back to Houston, but met my husband here and fell in love and all that good $hit. ;) You'll love this. I moved here to be with a guy I was dating who had graduated with me from Rice. Things did not work out (and believe me, that is a good thing), and I met the hubster. So I am here. I don't see myself moving back to Houston any time soon, but I go back when I can.

Papadeaux! Yum! I don't know the Berry Hill and don't recognize the Central Market's Deli. I also don't recognize where you work. It's an interesting name. If you like seafood, you must try Goode Company Seafood. I wasn't able to go there when I was there last November, and I am kicking myself!!

I look forward to your posts. When you said you were a student at Rice, I thought there was a likely chance you would be liberal (all the smart Rice students are liberals ;)). From were did you move when going to Rice?

I will likely move to the East Coast after I graduate. I want to open a studio in a liberal, open-minded area. So yeah, I'm gonna be a nearly starving Artist on the East or West Coast.

Lol I came to Rice from down the street. My parents gave me a place to stay and with all things considered, Rice seemed perfect for me. And next time you're here, try the fish tacos at Berryhill
