JD Vance will never be elected President.

The only way he'll ever be President is if Trump dies in office, and even then, I doubt he'd make it to the end of the term if there's anymore than a year left at that point.

The vice president of the United States hosting a podcast vowing to destroy violent leftist organizations that don’t exist.

This is normal.

I find the glee over the prospect of a Vance candidacy interesting and, frankly, a bit narrowminded.

Something to consider: Trump didn't beat the Democrats in two of three races because swing voters think he's someone of high character. They didn't vote for him because he helped incite a riot on Jan 6. They didn't vote for him because, even by Washington standards, he's incredibly dishonest. They didn't vote for him because he's crude, rude, and a p-grabbing womanizer. Think it through. They voted for him despite all of these things.

So our friends on the left may want to ask why? It may be that his policies -- while certainly not my brand of conservatism -- are popular enough with voters that they can overcome the concerns raised by, let's face it, the most flawed major party nominee we have ever seen.

Now, what happens when someone without all that baggage runs on those policies?

I disagree. They voted for him because of those things.

They support his actions. Especially the one and done voters. Republicans are going to miss those guys.
