I'm looking to get a new tv sometime soon - there is a new LG that I've connected a roku ultra too, and that worked fine. But the question I have is: can you hook up a roku ultra to a tv that has Alexa as the 'voice', and override it with the roku? I don't have a Prime account and don't want one. And will a roku override something like Samungs (I think) Tizen system? I've tried to look it up online and find various answers so I'm hoping someone here has experience with this. I'm assuming that once you plug the roku in and set the input to the HDMI that it's on, that everything will run off the roku, but I want to make sure.

You should be fine. One TV I recently bought(Fire TV with Alexa), you have to hold remote button for voice control.
But yes, tune to input your device is plugged into, and no other features should affect it unless you want it to.

Thanks! I thought that might be the case, but didn't want to find out it wasn't, lol. (The roku also has a voice control.)
