Six former wrestlers say Rep. Jim Jordan knew about abusive OSU doctor

Despite the former coach's claims that he knew nothing of sexual misconduct allegations against team doctor Richard Strauss, multiple wrestlers say they witnessed him being told directly.

Tito Vazquez says he still remembers the day three decades ago when, as a wrestler at Ohio State University, the doctor he’d gone to see about a bloody nose insisted on examining his genitals. He also recalls how one of his coaches dismissed his immediate complaint.

“‘I have nothing to do with this,’” Vazquez quoted the assistant coach saying, as he effectively ended the conversation and went on with wrestling practice.

That coach, Vazquez says, was Jim Jordan, now an Ohio congressman and an influential voice in Republican politics, perhaps best known for his pugnacious defense of President Donald Trump during the recent impeachment proceedings.

In H Biden's tax evasion case, there's a case for congressional oversight investigation, given the stalling, slow walking, thwarting, and even obstruction of the investigation of that case, and a seriously swampy plea deal which didn't stand up to the judge's questioning.

This investigation uncovered the money flow from foreign sources which subsequently implicated J Biden, as well as all the rest of the Bidens.

Or do you think it appropriate to just simply ignore the implicated, and frankly highly likely case of a US VP which was for sale, worse yet for sale to foreign powers?

"Highly likely" based on no convictions for tax fraud? He may not have sodomized this kid but he knew about what was going on with this late doctor but he apparently said nothing. That makes him guilty of something.

And what the doctor did might have been decades ago but the lie was pretty recent, 2018.

No, this is an issue that is brought up from time to time. Do you feel that the allegations should have been addressed by now?

In July 2018, several former wrestlers accused former head coach Russ Hellickson and U.S. representative Jim Jordan, who was an assistant coach at OSU between 1987 and 1994, of knowing about Strauss' alleged abuse but failing to take action to stop it.

Five years from when the matter was brought up and the last year Jordan was a coach was 1994. What actionable offense is Jordan accused of?
 

I doubt he's dont anything that is prosecutable.

It should never be dropped. It should be bought up every time Jim says anything.

That's not at all true, and you know it. There is a continued growing pool of documented evidence that J Biden was involved in H Biden's foreign money sources.

I don't frequent any mainstream media. None. I follow current events, but that's not the same as being immersed in propaganda. When the Russian lander crashes into the moon, and the Indian lander touches down like it was designed, those facts register with me without even a hint of propaganda.

I checked--the Ohio Mandated Reporter law does not include school personnel or anything similar to coaches, so you're right. In Ohio, he did nothing criminal by keeping his mouth shut about the doctor. But it was scummy, so I approve reminding people.

The point is that uninvestigated events from a persons life can come back to haunt them. He has a term, not tenure. Fully investigating Kavanuagh's background would reveal that he lied under oath in his confirmation hearings. Would lying to be confirmed be considered "...good Behaviour..."?
