Events that seem random to us, may hold a significant meaning.
We could be seeing signs that the final hours are coming.
As I've always said: keep your eyes on ISRAEL.

This article is very long, and quite detailed:

The incredible prophecies of Israel in the Last Days are the key to understanding just how close we are to the End of the Age.
The Bible predicts virtually everything that has happened to Israel over the last 100 years.
These prophecies are so detailed that we can now create a chronological chart that maps out exactly where Israel and the world are heading in this pivotable generation.
These prophecies prove that God is working in the world to bring about the Return of Christ and the redemption of Israel exactly as promised.

Trembling and Fear

The time period after Israel became a nation was also accurately predicted in the Bible. As the chronology chart shows, it is marked by repeated wars with their Arab neighbors and decades of constant tension. Both the prophet Jeremiah and Jesus himself predicted that before the end there would be a time of “wars and rumors of wars” and “fear” and “trembling” would characterize the nation of Israel, not peace. Although the Bible clearly predicts a time when Israel would be reborn and live in peace forever, the Last Days are distinct from that future promise, because Israel now is heading toward a day of judgment by the Lord, which will culminate in their true rebirth in salvation and faith.

There are many End Times prophecies in the Bible that are important to comprehend, but for a full understanding of how they could fit into a coherent chronology of the Last Days it is sometimes not completely clear
until the events actually occur.
The Rebirth of Israel is one such prophecy. The Lord plainly predicted that they would be reborn in a single day and become a nation in a state of unbelief leading to Armageddon (see for instance Jeremiah 30:3-7).
However, God did not provide details of how many wars they would have to fight before the end, nor did he tell us that they would finally capture Jerusalem only after winning a series of battles in a spectacular Six-Day War.

Israel at the End

The final events listed in the Chronology of Israel in the Last Days are all future events with no currently known dates associated with them.
However, due to Biblical prophecy, we know for certain that these events must occur before the Return of Christ.
For instance, based upon the prophecies concerning the Antichrist, we know that Israel must rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem in order for the predictions of the Abomination of Desolation to come to pass.

What Donald Trump Said About Jerusalem Might Signal a Prophetic Shift

"What if I told you that a single presidential announcement might have accelerated the biblical countdown to the end times?

What if the most controversial foreign policy decision of the 21st century wasn't just politics, but prophecy unfolding in real time?
Explaining these prophetic shifts made by Donald Trump involves addressing three complex puzzles. Let's break them down into simpler terms and discuss how they relate to each other."

Apophenia
: the tendency to perceive a connection or meaningful pattern between unrelated or random things (such as objects or ideas)

One of the explanations put forth by evolutionary psychologists for apophenia is that it is not a flaw in the cognition of human brains but rather something that has come about through years of need. The study of this topic is referred to as error management theory.

One of the most accredited studies in this field is Skinner's box. This experiment involved taking a hungry pigeon, placing it in a box and releasing food pellets at random times. The pigeon received a food pellet while performing some action; and so, rather than attributing the arrival of the pellet to randomness, the pigeon repeats that action, and continues to do so until another pellet falls. As the pigeon increases the number of times it performs the action, it gains the impression that it also increased the times it was "rewarded" with a pellet, although the release in fact remained entirely random.

Information regarding the true meaning that God gave the stars

Can you bring out Mazzaroth in its season? —Job 38:32

The “Mazzaroth” is the Hebrew name for the 12 constellations that are commonly known as the signs of the Zodiac. Although satan has corrupted the original purpose of these stars, which was to show the glory of God, they still maintain their original Hebrew names. Each one of these names were given by God, and each name carries a specific meaning. When these names are recited together, they amazingly reflect the story of the Christian gospel.

Since God is the Creator of all the stars and calls each one by name, it is possible that He has a special purpose in the naming of these stars.

He numbers all of the stars; he calls them all by name.[2] —Psalms 147:4

David wrote that the heavens declare and speak a message from God.

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows his handiwork.
2 Day unto day utters speech, and night unto night shows knowledge.
3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard
. —Psalms 19:1-3

From the beginning of the oral tradition of the Hebrews, when the scriptures were first memorized and repeated to each generation, there was a gospel message that was recorded
in the names of the twelve constellations of the Mazzaroth.[3]

I am not speaking of Astrology, which came much later, but the original names that God gave the stars that are in these twelve constellations.

The following list has—first, the secular names for each of the twelve constellations; second, the name given to them by God; and third, the meaning of each name:

• Virgo – Bethulah – Virgin, seed of a woman
• Libra – Mozanaiun – Man insufficient, unable to pay the price
• Scorpio – Akrab – The Dragon underfoot, seeking to destroy
• Sagittarius – Kesith – One with two natures (God/man), conquering
• Capricorn – Gedi- The Lamb’s Atonement for the Redeemed
• Aquarius – Deli – Living Water poured on the redeemed
• Pisces – Dagim – The Redeemed blessed, though bound
• Aries – Taleh – The Lamb that was slain
• Taurus – Shur,Reem – The Messiah coming to rule
• Gemini – Thaumim – The two natures of the King: God and man
• Cancer – Al Sartan – The Possession (Church) held fast
• Leo – Arieh – The Lion destroying the serpent

The story that is told by the names that God gave these stars is often referred to as the
“Gospel in the Stars.”
I have studied this phenomenon for years and cannot say whether there is merit to this idea.
What we do see in the names that God gave to each star is that these names have been known by many nations over thousands of years.
When we say the names with their meaning from God, we do see a story that is being told by the total of the constellations.

Update: September 11, 6:05 am

—The convergence of planets on September 23, 2017 and the same convergence during the birth of Jesus.

The Star of Bethlehem

What was the star or sign in the heavens which led this entourage of astrologers to believe that the Messiah had been born in Bethlehem? What did they see? What were they following?
Astronomers and other experts have proposed a variety of objects which they claim could have been the Christmas star.

Some claim that the star—which the Magi saw, was a Comet, an exploding star, or a grouping of planets. Others suggest that the star that was observed was a miracle created especially by God for this occasion.

Today, by the use of computer models of the Stars and planets, Astronomers can look backwards into the past history of the heavens and see what the stars and planets looked like 2,000 years ago.
Experts simply run a computer program of the current movement of the stars and planets, in reverse, back to the point of past history that they want to observe.[6]

It is reasonable that the Star of Bethlehem could be observed by sky watchers elsewhere in the world, not only by the Magi. Although the men are known as wise men or kings, they were actually priests who relied on astrology.

Between September of 3 B.C. and June of 2 B.C., Jupiter passed by the star Regulus in the constellation Leo. Jupiter reversed itself and then passed Regulus again, turning back to pass the star a third time. This was a remarkable event since astrologers considered Jupiter the “Kingly Planet” and regard Regulus as the “Kings Star.”[7]

The crowning touch came on June 17, when Jupiter seemed to approach—so close to Venus, that even without magnification, the two stars looked like a single star with greatly increased brilliance.

This whole sequence of events could have been “signs” enough for at least three astrologers to go to Jerusalem and ask Herod: “Where is He that is born King of the Jews, for we have seen his star in the east

and are come to worship him.”

For instance, based upon the prophecies concerning the Antichrist, we know that Israel must rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem in order for the predictions of the Abomination of Desolation to come to pass.

These days I find myself wondering to the interpretation of Isaiah 1
11...The multitude of your sacrifices—what are they to me?” says the Lord. “I have more than enough of burnt offerings, of rams and the fat of fattened animals; I have no pleasure in the blood of bulls and lambs and goats.
12 When you come to appear before me, who has asked this of you, this trampling of my courts?
13 Stop bringing meaningless offerings! Your incense is detestable to me. New Moons, Sabbaths and convocations—I cannot bear your worthless assemblies.
14 Your New Moon feasts and your appointed festivals I hate with all my being. They have become a burden to me; I am weary of bearing them.
15 When you spread out your hands in prayer, I hide my eyes from you; even when you offer many prayers, I am not listening. Your hands are full of blood!
16 Wash and make yourselves clean. Take your evil deeds out of my sight; stop doing wrong.
17 Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.
18 “Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.
19 If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good things of the land;
20 but if you resist and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword.” For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.
21 See how the faithful city has become a prostitute! She once was full of justice; righteousness used to dwell in her—but now murderers!
22 Your silver has become dross, your choice wine is diluted with water.
23 Your rulers are rebels, partners with thieves; they all love bribes and chase after gifts. They do not defend the cause of the fatherless; the widow’s case does not come before them.
24 Therefore the Lord, the Lord Almighty, the Mighty One of Israel, declares: “Ah! I will vent my wrath on my foes and avenge myself on my enemies.
25 I will turn my hand against you; I will thoroughly purge away your dross and remove all your impurities.
26 I will restore your leaders as in days of old, your rulers as at the beginning. Afterward you will be called the City of Righteousness, the Faithful City.”
27 Zion will be delivered with justice, her penitent ones with righteousness.
28 But rebels and sinners will both be broken, and those who forsake the Lord will perish.
29 “You will be ashamed because of the sacred oaks in which you have delighted; you will be disgraced because of the gardens that you have chosen.
30 You will be like an oak with fading leaves, like a garden without water.
31 The mighty man will become tinder and his work a spark; both will burn together, with no one to quench the fire.”

Jack Van Impe had a knack for connecting daily news events to biblical writings that never came to fruition; but boy, it sold VHS tapes for $129.95!

End times prophecy is a huge grift. Billions and billions of sales through books and videos. Proven wrong countless times, yet it continues on and on and on. Preachers with pretty hairdo's, several rings, expensive watches, thousand dollar suits, owning multiple homes should ring a bell, but strangely enough it doesn't for many.

I think it all prevents people from being Christlike, for they see themselves in the group going to escape all the peril, drama, trouble, and death and causes them to see them in a different light, as if they are better.......this too should ring a bell, but it doesn't.

Idk, so surreal for just follow the money and the true reason will come to light.

That's man - and many uses religion for money. You don't need any end times prophecy for that, either.
Man uses atheism for money. Look at all the countless of books, videos and speaking engagements on why there can't be a GOD.

That doesn't mean, to look for signs is unbiblical.
We are.................... SUPPOSED TO!

He even told us some signs!

Matthew 24
15 “Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand),
16 “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains

You don't want to be caught like the foolish virgins.................do you? (Matthew 25)

Matthew 24
32
“Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near.

33 Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door.

How many times would we have to be told?

Matthew 24
42 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.
43 But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.

Why are we told to watch for signs?

Matthew 25
13
“Therefore keep watch,
because you do not know the day or the hour.

That's something you should bring up with Jesus when you see Him.
What was He thinking?

Btw - I can't help but notice - you seem to agree more with atheists than Christians. :)

Richard Dawkins charges between $50,000 - $100,000!

Lol - even an atheist can make money out of religion!
He knows how to...............and, can milk a bull! :ROFLMAO:

What about activism?

You folks surely don't think all these popular activists for climate change, as an example...............are all doing it for the good?
It's become another industry!

Speaking engagements, books and merchandise!

So........................it's hypocritical to single out Christians, like Impe.
Not that I'm saying Impe is like them.

Folks are going nuts over the alarming message from biblical prophecies............and yet................

How Al Gore Refashioned Climate Alarmism Into A $330 Million Empire

Warning the world that it is on the brink of disaster has been lucrative for Al Gore.

His wild predictions at Davos that Earth faces ‘rain bombs’ and ‘boiling oceans’ are just his latest in decades of climate alarmism.

Gore also nets at least $200,000 per public speaking engagement. Gore’s advice on ‘going green’ is also sought by the biggest businesses in the world for undisclosed sums.

Lo - at least - we have an ancient Book - which has proven itself what with all the science confirmations - that we rely on!
Some information about creation are in the Book - long BEFORE science even knew about them!

Not very Christian like. Activists never claim to be Christians. So I guess grifting is acceptable. But not for a man of god!

The rapture is a false, man-made doctrine...or should I say woman-made...

The Rapture doctrine, as defined by Dispensationalism, is a modern concept that did not exist in Christian history for the first 1800 years.

The doctrine of the Rapture originated in the early 19th century with Margaret MacDonald, a Scottish prophetess, who described a secret, pre-Tribulation "rapture" of believers. This idea was then disseminated and popularized by John Nelson Darby, a 19th-century Irish-English theologian and dispensationalist preacher. The concept gained significant traction through its inclusion in the Scofield Reference Bible in 1909 and later through the Left Behind series of novels, becoming a cornerstone of certain American evangelical and fundamentalist circles.

Whether the rapture is to be taken literally in its interpretaion or not.........is not the point.

The issue is about..................SIGNS.

SIGNS that the Coming of Christ is at my door!

My main concern is to get to Heaven.
Doesn't matter whether it's through the front gate........................or through the back door. :)
As long as I'm in!

Surely you believe in the Second Coming of Christ?
Am I wrong?

Can you please take a pause from trying to discredit other Christians, and focus instead on the message.
You're missing the forest for the trees again.
