There is more space in media now for this kind of venture than there would have been a few years ago. The fact of the matter is the traditional media landscape where linear broadcast TV was the main bread winner is in continual decline, as is cable TV. People have been moving to the streaming world in increasing numbers, and even that environment is still developing since the large players in the space have to compete with individuals who create content and posts to social media sites (TikTok etc.) and YouTube. The question here is whether what Truth Social can compete in this space given their polarizing content, which seems to be the case given the slant of some of the news outlets listed.
