Should we investigate the members of SCOTUS to see how rich they are getting supporting Trump?

The conservatives on SCOTUS are seeming to back Trump on every important decision that moves us closer to autocratic rule, starting with the big one, immunity. And at the same time, we find at least one of them, Thomas, taking huge amounts of money and vacations paid for by one of the billionaires even as Thomas makes decisions that effect that billionaire. These same conservatives on the bench bending the knee to Trump have refused to agree to any kind of ethics rules, saying they will control themselves while refusing to do so. If the Dems get back in control of the House, should they begin investigations of all the members of SCOTUS to see how they have been enriching themselves by ruling in favor of the wealthy and Trump?

All I keep thinking about on this subject is Joe Biden initially saying he would raise the SCOTUS justices to 13 (and immediately naming 4 more dem justices), and then apparently allowing himself to be talked out of it.
It was the right thing to do, and a major ****-up of his presidency, along with naming Garland AG. :rolleyes: What a colossal double ****up.
Trump was talking about doing it recently, I believe. By the time a dem (if) gets back in the WH there may be 30 con justices on the SCOTUS as a buffer (I hope I'm kidding).
 
It would not make a difference. The five reactionaries on the SC could stand in front of a microphone and announce they are taking bribes.

Good luck impeaching and getting 67 senators to remove them from the bench.
