I gave you a reply. I asked you where I said that. You STILL haven't quoted me. I'm waiting. Or were you lying about my position?
That is called a strawman. It is intellectual dishonesty used as a crutch by people with no debate skills.
If police shot someone here that they knew was unarmed they would most likely face imprisonment and rightly so. I have little sympathy with the sociopathic tendencies of gun nuts who see no problem with gunplay in such an instance.
Again. That isn't a response. You still haven't quoted me saying it was an ok first response.
If shooting unarmed people is your only response then its your first response by definition. Views like yours explain why your police kill over 1,000 people every year
Quote me where I said it was the only response. Or are you lying about that too?
Ever heard the phrase 'once you've gotten yourself into a hole stop digging'

That's what I thought
Do you recognize the irony you just posted?Ever heard the phrase 'once you've gotten yourself into a hole stop digging'
And good for you
But what is the point you were trying to make by pointing out the obvious? After all the subsequent deflective smoke and mirrors there is not a single thing here that challenges the point I initially made all the way back on post # 3
'Undoubtedly had the criminal not found it so easy to access a firearm in the first place this officer would still be alive today '
That was true then and it is still true despite all the faux outrage that has followed

And, technically, unless completely unable to obtain a weapon, making it harder to acquire one would just make it less likely, not impossible.
No no, I was asking what your precise point was, when you pointed out the obvious - that if the criminal had a harder time accessing a firearm they would be less likely to shoot someone.Thats right. Police shootings elsewhere are extremely rare but in the US they are not. Its was the avoidance of the obvious that I was highlighting
