You don't
I'm happy for you
Nor would the vast majority want to
Having shot for the USA I am familiar with British competitive shooting
there is ZERO pistol shooting by civilians in England.
Are you saying that Steve Pengelly (Head Pistol Coach) doesn't actually have anyone to coach? And the National Smallbore Rifle Assoc doesn't compete in international pistol competitions?
most sheep like living in pens. They don't know freedom
So because we can't kill or be killed more easily we aren't free ?? :lamo
no, because you cannot own a pistol because your nanny government doesn't trust you to own one, you aren't free
You have some weird perceptions about what represents freedom. Do you think everyone outside the US is living in oppression pining after firearms so that they can shoot their democratically elected governments ?
Actually intelligent people own pistols for lots of reasons including competition which millions find enjoyable Most of us who own them don't wet ourselves in fear that someone else might want to own one either. You have a rather strange view as to why most Americans who own handguns do.
Looking at your firearms stats most 'intelligent people' wouldn't choose to have a firearm anywhere near them nor their families. I very much doubt its for target shooting
UNDERSTANDING OUR STATS
if you aren't an inner city drug dealer living in a Democrat run city, you don't have much to worry about
Tell that to the relatives of the police officer in the OP
European governments don't trust the people living under them and they don;t trust each other either.UNDERSTANDING OUR STATS

why do Europeans spend so much time pissing and moaning about American gun rights?
European governments don't trust the people living under them and they don;t trust each other either.
Only the wacky wacky, gun mad Swiss. whose laws most Europeans ignore, are allowed to own guns and the crime rate there is minimal. Switzerland doesn't even make the top 10 in Europe. The most violent country in Europe: Britain is also worse than South Africa and U.S. | Daily Mail Online
Yet he was able to easily aquire a gun nonethelessthat was a felon who already violated several laws
do you HONESTLY think someone who is willing to face the ramifications of killing a police officer is going to be deterred by a gun law?
The comparative national figures speak for themselves. Only 'idiots' dismiss them out of handthat is the sort of idiocy the anti gun types spew
yeah a capital murder sentence won't stop a cop killer but a gun law will
It has here for the most partoh and if you think a gun law is going to prevent a guy who already commits a federal felony (average sentence 11 years) for merely touching a gun from having one, then why hasn't the total bans on crack and heroin stopped that.
not much logic when it comes to the gun banning faction as they pretend criminals who are willing to kill cops will be disarmed
Yet he was able to easily aquire a gun nonetheless
We haven't had a police officer shot and killed for years because our felons find it much harder to get a gun
The comparative national figures speak for themselves. Only 'idiots' dismiss them out of hand
So its a Dirty Harry thing with you then ?
It has here for the most part
Where do you think your criminals got their guns in the first place ?
We haven't had a police officer shot and killed for years because our felons find it much harder to get a gun
crack cocaine has never ever been legal in the USA and its easy to get
so what is your solution. I love hearing what foreigners want to do with our laws
By all means voluntarily endanger yourself as much as you like, I'm sure every gun owner who has lost a relative to the gun he kept at home allegedly for defence has said the same as you.Look, if you are afraid of owning a handgun (or more likely, afraid of other citizens owning them) that isn't my problem. But stop telling people who can handle them without having a loss of bodily functions that we shouldn't have them
oh BTW how many cops were being killed in England before the collective bed wetting after Dunblane?
Looking at your firearms stats most 'intelligent people' wouldn't choose to have a firearm anywhere near them nor their families. I very much doubt its for target shooting
me thinks your a bit daft. Is it not true that approximately 39% of murders in England are done with a knife or some other sharp object? A little research shows England still has murder committed by firearms. While very low in numbers, the murderer still found a way to get a gun.
Should knives and sharp objects be banned in England? It is your main cause of death by murder.
I will use your logic then. Looking at your murder stats, most "INTELLIGENT PEOPLE" wouldn't choose to have a knife or sharp object anywhere near them or their families. Seems there are other uses for knives besides eating or preparing meals.
It seems clear why you don't want guns available in the UK. You are being redirected...Your first link was an incident that happened three years ago and your second link did not involve a firearm. I did not claim that our police officers never got shot or killed on duty at all so whats your point ?
Why not look at the Swiss stats?Guns make killing far too easy as your nations own grim statistics amply illustrate

Why not look at the Swiss stats?
It would have been the police who were shot dead.Yes I'm sure shooting them all dead would have made things a lot better right ?
