Or maybe a justifiably upset lady?

A woman who came away disappointed with the amount of meat on her Subway Steak & Cheese sandwich has sued the company for what she calls “false and misleading” advertising.
Anna Tollison filed a federal class action lawsuit in the Eastern District of New York on Monday against Subway Restaurants Inc. and other subsidiaries on behalf of anyone who bought a Steak & Cheese sandwich in the Empire State between Oct. 28, 2021, through the filing of the suit.
Suing restaurants over what food looks like in photos compared to reality is not new. According to a Reuters report, the same law firm filed lawsuits against McDonald’s, Taco Bell and Wendy’s that were dismissed last year.

Out for the money or making a statement?

Only speaking from personal experience, I have never had a sub from Subway that had inadequate meat. The thing is after you pick up your sandwich you can manipulate it however you want for your social media attention getting bitchfest and how strange she noticed the substantial lack of meat only after biting into it. Yeah, I don't think she has much of a case.

Companies do manipulate food so it looks more hearty in ads. They'll show a sandwich from the side and push the filling towards that side. Or use smaller than average props so servings look bigger. There are tons of photos on Reddit comparing how food looks in ads versus what you actually receive.
Not sure when this crosses the line from buyer beware to illegal.

15 minutes, just 15 minutes, is all she wants.

It is one of the reasons that pretty much the only sandwich I'll order out is a burger with at least a 8oz patty. They never add enough meat.

Has anyone ever had a Big Mac that looks like this?

maybe she pulled the meat out and thought of the $$$ she could sue for.

Then EVERY company, food or otherwise, could be sued for false advertising.

Better weigh the burger to make sure it really IS 8oz.

How can someone be so petty as to complain about too little meat on a sub sandwich? I'd like to see who this woman is...over or under 350 lbs?
