Even though there are differences between the sexes, and, statistically, one sex will be better than the other at something if viewed on average. It's irrelevant as far as individuals are concerned, since, even if we assume, for example, that men are stronger on average than women, a woman who has devoted herself to strength training will be stronger than a man who hasn't.
So, while I believe that genetics play a role in there being certain statistical differences between the sexes, all of the evidence I've seen shows that the biggest differences are between individual people, regardless of sex.
