Several EPA employees fired after letter of dissent over policies

I don't care about what's legal, I care about what's moral, and the nefarious progressive regulatory state is profoundly immoral. Firing these rotten government bureaucrats who live off of the taxpayer for decades, while at the same time make us all poorer off and worse off is the best thing Trump has ever done. If I had known he was going to fire so many of them I would have voted for him.

Geezus christ, you want to impose your "morals" on everyone else?!

That's not "Libertarian", that's downright authoritarian - and Christian nationalistic, to boot.

Thanks, though, for making your attitude/priorities crystal clear.

Nevertheless, when you're an employee, whether in government or a private company, your employer can usually discipline you for speech made in your role that undermines the organization.

So, freedom of speech is only for stuff you agree with then?

Your question isn't germane to the question I've asked you to answer. Why not? Because you do not have to know which law trump has violated.

Read the question - posed by me for a third time:

IF your boy trump is violating the law [or, if Cosmo prefers, substitute "a law" for "the law"], do you endorse trump's firing these employees?
Which law? Like he if ran a stop sign? WTF would that have to do with firing employees?

We don't have to know which law, @Cosmo, in order for you to answer the question whether you would support trump's violating a law as he fires Federal employees.

That you refuse to answer the question is laughable at this point: we can safely assume you sure as hell would support trump's firing Federal employees, even if doing so violates Federal law. But maybe you are not yet at the point you like trump's thumbing his nose at laws....

Lots of MAGA adherents around the country have made crystal clear their own contempt for the rule of law, at least when it comes to trump and the GOP.

Of course not! You just need to know it's the bad orange man and for the MSM to post something for you to melt down.

I don't need to know which law. YOU are the one who is fixated on this detail - and, of course, you do so in order to try to distract attention from the fact that your boy trump is firing employees in violation of the or a law.

AND, possibly, in order to distract yourself from the fact you support trump's lawlessness.

:ROFLMAO: I love it! You're actually trying to justify your melting down over Trump's supposed "lawlessness," the "fact" that he is breaking it, and "violation of the or a law" (whatever that means) while not even knowing what law you're talking about! :ROFLMAO:

Modern American liberalism in a nutshell!

No "meltdown" on my part.

That trump's been accused by the union of violating the law regarding firing the employees is a fact. That no one has shown that trump is not violating the law is another fact.

That you don't have the stomach to say yay or nay re whether you support trump's violating a law with his firing of these workers is another fact.

Keep on responding. I'll keep on pointing out you whine about "which law", you refuse to do your own research to ascertain which law, and you want me to do your work.

It will also afford me yet another opportunity to note the lawlessness of the trump administration.

Has anyone shown that you're not violating the law? :ROFLMAO:

Life in Emperor Trumpatine's administration.

The Trump administration notified eight employees of their termination on Friday following their decision to sign a letter dissenting from current policies at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Associated Press reports.

“The Environmental Protection Agency has a zero-tolerance policy for career officials using their agency position and title to unlawfully undermine, sabotage, and undercut the will of the American public that was clearly expressed at the ballot box last November,” the EPA said in a statement after the administrative leave notices were sent, according to The Washington Post, who first reported the firings.

What about whistleblower protections?

And then check this out:

"Want to work for National Weather Service? Be ready to explain how you agree with Trump
As the National Weather Service scrambles to hire up to 450 people to restore deep cuts by the Department of Government Efficiency, potential applicants are being asked to explain how they would advance President Donald Trump’s agenda if hired.
A posting from the weather service’s parent agency seeking meteorologists asks applicants to identify one or two of Trump’s executive orders “that are significant to you, and explain how you would help implement them if hired.”

Trump's done that already.

Within the confines of that employment contract, written or oral........

And ONLY within those working conditions and within accepted law and practice.

Then no one should respect you.

Especially when YOU define what is "moral"!

If you do not respect the law, as passed within a constitutional framework you have departed protest and entered into crime!

I suspect you're pretty hard on 'criminals' too. Care to offer a suggestion on your punishment?

Not sure about this organization in particular, but very few jobs in America have employment contracts. In general, you keep your job until the boss decides there are more reasons to fire you than to keep you employed.

Check out the OP. The union says the law was violated.
The union didnt specify any particular law. So until they, or you, point to a violation of law this is nothing more than another leftist temper tantrum.
