My logs show three server issues over about 48 hours or so and with two browsers I was immediately able to access the Net with another tab, so I am rather sure that trouble wasn't at my end.

Suppose I am just hoping y'all get that figured out. I know that servers can get buggy sometimes, so this isn't a complaint.

If you need any JST timestamps for when the outages were evident at this work station, just ask.

But I doubt you do, as the server logs will be fine for troubleshooting.

Good luck.

I too have experienced downed server issues multiple times in the last 48 hours, in fact DP has gone down on Google chrome 3 times for brief periods of time, as soon as I restarted the browser it came back up?

But that has a sort of positive thought, in an odd way, it could be increased traffic. Of course, I don't know what's up.

To be honest, I was only caught off-guard the first time back --- maybe yesterday JST --- I am not looking at my log notes. My point is, if it happens just as you have finished a post and are not quick enough to grab a copy, maybe txt copy, then you have to rewrite the post. I was sort of lucky the first time and grabbed a txt copy and so could do a rewrite with no trouble.

But servers are a whole bunch better than some years ago.

Anyway, I'm sure they have the ability to find the little nano bug run around inside the server yelling "Bet you can't catch me."

I don't log anything...It's just an anomaly for the server to go down..

I maintain a detailed log of all activity on the Net. Browsers, and bit depth 24 DIB files of screen grab archiving of all posts on all sites I might be involved in at any given time. All security on all units, and I also have a server for business purposes and obviously that has its own log system and restore software and such. Frankly, it is a real pain sometimes to keep up with all the archiving and filing here-and-there, as I don't like using 3rd-party software to do it for me. In fact, when I had to spend that 6-7 months in the hospital during that relapse I did a lot of files as temp saves that are not completely filed in the correct folders. And this aging stuff doesn't help with regard to maintaining a 10 to 12 hour workload each day. Golden Week right now, so less work to do and why I've been able to spend more time on this site. Plus I am becoming concerned about the U.S. as I smell something in the air I didn't even feel was out-and-about during the end of the Nixon days. In fact, I remember when he went down to Ft Benning to give us all a tongue lashing and he looked terrible. But when you put together a unit like he was doing one has to expect a lot of us would have friends up there in D.C. and Alexandria. And he sure was pissed off. Sorry, I'm starting to ramble.
