This is crap. I could see suspending the dress code for someone who was handicapped or otherwise unable to meet the code. But to suspend it so this fat slob doesn't have to change out of the shorts and hoodie he wears to sleep on his parent's couch in the basement?

The Schumerification of the once proud Senate continues downward.

Fetterman feigned mock outrage.

“They’re freaking out, I don’t understand it,” he said of his critics. “Like, aren’t there more important things we should be working on right now instead of, you know, that I might be dressing like a slob?”

Yes, this is far more important than funding the operations of the country. How exactly will this impact the Senate negatively?

"Might"? Try "am".

You're a disgrace to the Senate, Fetterman.

I basically like Fetterman, but Senators shouldn't show up to the Senate looking like a summer tourist.

Repulsicans are more concerned with the window dressing than the substance. No surprise there.

Yet, they are fine with leaving Santos in office. Now that is something worthy of outrage.
Yeah, that's why I can't bring myself to give a shit about all this phony-assed outrage over Fetterman.

That's why I can't be bothered with complaints about any democratic legislator.

These threads exist solely to be mocked.

Your fake concern is misdirected. I don't care if the senators wear bathing suits or tutus on the Senate floor if they address the issues that they have been kicking down the road forever-which they haven't done for decades.
