It's already done. But this opportunity to disavow the trump faction may make it possible for them to recover from this sooner than otherwise.

They should be weaker for a cycle or two with their loss of the trumpie vote, however.

The good news is it looks like the trumpies are taking the entire 30 year conditioning program in conservative media down with them.

Fascistic Trump supporters? I am interested in the word you used to describe Trump supporters . Odd but I just came across a report that one of the people that were arrested at the Capitol is a member and the founder of the Utah chapter of Insurgence USA and that when he was arrested he said he was not there to cause trouble but to observe. But it turns his group had it on their calendar to show up in DC and meet at the Washington monument at 11:00 AM on Jan 6th to kick the fascists out of DC and dump Trump. He is also an activist for BLM and has been arrested previously at protests.

I think it's impolite and rude to harass people in public. It's fascistic to try and overturn a free and fair election by attempting a half-assed coup by ransacking Capitol Hill like a bunch of two-bit thugs. Okay? Do you see the difference?

At no point was Congress going to invalidate the election. This was a lie, sold to you by fascists.

Trump lost. Trump's lawsuits went down in flames 62 out of 63 times. Okay? They had 3 recounts. Trump lost them all. The Supreme Court told trump to take a hike. Each and every state certified their election results. Congress just confirmed the electoral college votes. IT IS OVER! Trump is not going to be President for the next 4 years. Get a grip. Get over it.

Biden won.

Trump lost.

Put on your big girl pants.

Get on with your life.

Biden will be our President.
