So I badly pulled some muscles in my lower back trying to keep my old dog alive for a few months longer.

I ended up missing work for almost a week.

Percocet, Flexeril, and some prescription motrin got me back on my feet after a few days.

Now, as the muscles have been healing I'm getting some sciatic nerve pain radiating down my leg from my hip area.

Been given some basic stretches by doctor, but I wonder what others have done who've had similar pains.

What kind of exercises, stretches, or other things have you done to relieve sciatic discomfort?

Generally speaking I'd say I'm about 90% "healed" and pain free.

Just looking to speed up the last 10%.

Thanks to all who offer help.

These are some basic stretching things doctor recommended...or something very close to these.
