Schumer asks Army to provide Vindman same protections as whistleblower | TheHill

Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) is asking the Army to provide an officer who testified as part of the House impeachment inquiry the same protections against retaliation that a whistleblower would receive.

Schumer sent a letter on Wednesday to Secretary of the Army Ryan McCarthy and Chief of Staff of the Army General James C. McConville raising concerns that Lt. Colonel Alexander Vindman could face retaliation for his testimony on Tuesday.

Retaliation? This poor guy, for doing his job, now has a target painted on his back that states 'NEVER TRUMPER.' Without protection, like being sent to some remote radar station in Greenland, his days are numbered. Remember, Trumpists love guns.
 
Has Trump done the usual yet and insinuated Vindman is a spy and traitor who should face execution? That tweet should be coming any time now.

Wearing of his uniform is definitely theater. I've heard from plenty that his daily dress at the WH would be civilian clothes, and would be part of his orders. Showing up in dress blues is like putting on a bullet-proof vest. Already one Democrat has suggested as much saying this purple heart veteran can't be criticized, so back off!

If they were concerned, they would have arranged for this before he testified. As I said, theatrics on Schumer's part.

They called this decorated war veteran a spy and or traitor. They don't even hide the crazy anymore. It's bad when Liz Cheney is disgusted at their antics. He should be protected because you don't know the mind set of the cult following.
 
Junior was on Fox calling out Vindman as a leftist! The host pointed out that nobody knew what his politics are, but the message was out there to the faithful.

Cheney was clearly appalled in her presser. But Trump ass sniffer Kevin McCarthy looked uncomfortable standing behind her when she was speaking. He's mad because everyone is so mean to The Donald! It's okay to attack a war hero. He spoke out against the great and wonderful Trump! Off with his head!
 
The NYT said Vindman has been advising the Ukraine on how they should handle Guliani . That sounds like he is conducting his on foreign policy. That is a big no no.

Vindman must be, the eyes of the Fox so-called News, the Manchurian Candidate, programmed from pre-K to get Trump no matter what the cost. Even though his name was not known at the time.

That's not at all what it sounds like. Ukraine wanted to know how to handle an unofficial US rep that is tied to the President. Vinman is of Ukrainian background, speaks Ukrainian and works in the White House. Your going to need a lot more than that to create a shadow foreign policy
