Saudi Arabia Reiterates Support for a Palestinian State

"Saudi Arabia reaffirmed its support for an independent Palestinian state on Tuesday and said establishing diplomatic ties with Israel would depend on the creation of such a state, hours after President Trump proposed permanently moving all Palestinians out of Gaza and making it a U.S. territory.

The Foreign Ministry’s statement early Wednesday local time, which said that Saudi support for a Palestinian state was “firm and unwavering,” contradicted Mr. Trump. While hosting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel at the White House on Tuesday, the president had said that Saudi Arabia was not insisting on a Palestinian state."

I know the Trump family loves that Saudi money, but there seems to be a difference of opinion here.
 
The Saudis don't want a bunch of crazy terrorist Hamas refugees dumped into their country. Who can blame them?

But the independent Palestinian state is as impossible now as Gaza becoming the 51st state. Or would it be the 52nd after Canada?
 
You can have a Palestinian State, but it doesn't have to be on the gaza strip. Saudi and other rich middle east counties are experts at turning dessert land into something a lot better.

You would think the left would figure out that when Trump says something he doesn't necessarily mean it. I mean he's literally done it 5 or 6 times in the last week.

Well that's a huge lie. He has said over and over and over that the US is "subsidizing" Canada and that this was the main reason for the tariffs. Yet we see nothing from either Canada or Mexico mentioning these "subsidies".

Oh, just so you are aware, what he means by "subsidies" is our trade imbalance, which has nothing to do with any of the governments.

I'm sure Trump will counter offer sectioning off a part of Saudi Arabia for all the Palestinians to live in which they will refuse.

Yeah, screw that whole homeland thing. We'd be better off moving Israel somewhere else imo. They've only lived there for 80 years.

I read an article once that discussed numerous possibilities for a Jewish Homeland. If I remember correctly, Macedonia was mentioned.

The fact is, Jews are safer dispersed among the world than they are living in Israel. But unfortunately, the rest of the world hates them.
