This looks pretty advanced

And we are threatening trading partners out of pique to entertain morons.

Given the unbelievable advances the Chinese have made in the last 10-15 years leads me to believe that the Chinese have successfully infiltrated the entire US defense industry. Placement of spy’s in the aerospace skunkworks and naval industries in addition to reaping treasure troves of info thru hacking operations IMO has made this possible. Our focus on the ****ing mess we created in the Middle East has taken our eyes off the most obvious threat.

Which only helps substantiate my post. China is extremely serious about wanting to be the next world leader and have methodically moved in that direction. All the while we stick our noses where it doesn’t belong and has no bearing on our national interests. Something to think about if your hair is on fire for gender identity.

Those wingtip ailerons (tiperons??) can help that thing maneuver even when it folds down its tail.
Collapsing the tail greatly helps stealth, also makes it more streamlined and fuel-efficient.
Wow, never seen anything like that before - not even in concept art.

I have learned to be highly cynical of Russian and Chinese claims and especially when it comes to military technology.

That’s true but it doesn’t answer how they were able to make a quantum leap in technology in such a short period of time. They certainly didn’t get it from the Russians because the Russians wouldn’t be where they are today, lagging behind.

Damn, I guess you are China and Russia fan.

Who says they've made a quantum leap in technology ?

Up until recently the Chinese fielded knock offs of Russian aircraft and equipment. It’s only been the last 10 to 15 years where they’ve become almost totally independent of them. Their advancement has been astounding especially in the air and sea.

They instead try to copy Western designs. Just like the Russians used to.

They’re following the very successful Soviet espionage operations beginning in the 1930’s til the end of the Cold War. Its greatest success was stealing the secrets of the atomic bomb. The irony of which when Truman was sworn in as president following FDR’s death, he had absolutely zero knowledge of the bomb but Stalin did.

Citation ?

It's not about being a fan, it's about seeing that the Chinese have hardware that could pose a serious threat in the next decade.
There are no comparable prototypes in the US inventory. This fighter is being called a 6th-generation fighter, while the US only has 5th-generation ones.

About Soviet espionage or Truman?

That "they’re following the very successful Soviet espionage operations beginning in the 1930’s til the end of the Cold War."

Because the latest Russian missiles/aircraft don't look like they're very successful.

With the end of the Cold War there wasn’t any reason for the American communists who worked in the defense industry and traitors who were in it for the money to continue to spy for a failed regime. The new Russia had much more serious problems to fix. I’m not saying they’re still not trying but Russian intelligence apparatus isn’t what it used to be.

So they're not "following the very successful Soviet espionage operations beginning in the 1930’s til the end of the Cold War."

From what can tell by what I’ve read, socialist and communist ideologies started having their heyday days back the thirties in Europe and the U.S.. FDR looked on communism as a benign threat to the U.S.. his wife Eleanor championed socialist causes. His second VP, Henry Agard Wallace, was as close to being a communist as you could be and fawned over Stalin and the Soviet Union. Luckily for the U.S. Truman became his last VP in 1945. Who knows what would have happened if Truman wasn’t selected? Before and during FDR’s terms in office the Soviets built a network of cells which catered to the Soviets every whim.

OK looking past your anti-Democrat diatribe,

Can we say that, contrary to what you said earlier, that Russia is no longer "following the very successful Soviet espionage operations beginning in the 1930’s til the end of the Cold War." ?

Nothing in response was intended as anti-democratic diatribe. I was Merely giving you background on Soviet espionage in the U.S.
Which continued thru republican administrations. Feel better now?

You said:

Sounds like an anti-Democrat rant to me, and nothing to do with Soviet espionage
What Republicans do you also damn as pro-Soviet ?

Which continued thru republican administrations. Feel better now?

Not until you answer
