Russia will not capitulate. Putin has too much to lose at this point. Ironically he seems to enjoy a majority support from ordinary Russian citizens in spite of such tremendous loss of life.
Trump’s facial expressions and body language told you what the result was as Putin was speaking.

This was all to give Putin a much needed boost with his people no one will dare oppose someone that could pull this off on a American President. Putin gave nothing and got the recognition of the world as a major power 2nd only the to the US. Zelensky will now be told he must agree to all Putin's demands or Russia will destroy Ukraine. That is the dirty secret that Trump won't reveal. He caved like the weakling his is. The little elf outplayed and outsmarted him. I am not at all surprised Trump is the weakest President in history.
