I stand by your post that you find it hard that Hillary and Bill would love their grandchild like every other grandparent.
You don't just find it strange, you find it disqualifying to be president. Which is more bizarre than staying with a serial cheater, as it puts the blame on the victim.
The Obama's also have great family photos. I guess that means Obama is a great president by your reckoning.
We're talking candidacy here. Obama's visuals most definitely helped his candidacy.
Especially against the much older and frail McCain. Just like it helped Kennedy against Nixon, and Clinton against Dole.
It's rare that such things are entirely a one-way street. Usually the couple bears responsibility in a failed relationship - it's not all one's fault while the other remains pristine and pure.
Means they're photogenic - both the Obama family and the Rubio family. I know this is rough for ya, but give it a try.

Yeah, remember the Democrats scurrilous campaign in 2008 was that McCain probably wouldn't survive his first term.
I said it bothered ME she stayed with him because what he did to her IMO was abusive. I never said it disqualified her.
And yes Obama's family pictures over the years have been very nice also.

Oh yeah, and his wife is a Former Miami Dolphins Cheerleader......
So it's Hillary's fault Bill cheated on her. Wow, I'm shocked to see a conservative say this.
Someone who finds a failed marital relationship MOST troubling and disqualifying would (if they are consistent) find the reverse MOST qualifying as a presidential attribute. Which is what vesper actually indicated by posting a photo of Rubio's family.
Mornin JM
Hubby was watching the speech and his comment was, "Dang, he's wife is hot!"
It is most troubling when I see a woman allow herself to remain in a relationship when her spouse continually cheats on her which amounts to abusive behavior. You said it was most troubling, even more so than her ideology, and then went on to blame Hillary for the marital troubles of her friend.
Shortened for band width.
Only one-third of Iowa's registered voters are GOP, with roughly one-third DEM and one-third Independent.
It's a closed primary--so let's see if there's a move to reregister indies .
Mornin Nimby. :2wave: Don't worry I know all about the boom box. I was only looking at the GOP primary and what Rubio has going with other Republicans. As noted by the Chart from Nate Silver. Iowans don't see Rubio as to Conservative. But still give him High marks.
Carson is fill in fodder and will take votes away from others. But he wont take NH or SC. Then there is Paul and Cruz.
So again, Rubio according to 538 is sitting close to the Sweet Spot.
Moreover, if you check the polls for Bush in Florida recently. He isn't as well off as he should be. Rubio is at least thought of, off the top.
Unless Walker keeps tripping over his own tongue, he wins a state like Iowa where only one-third of the electorate is registered GOP, and very conservative, in that closed primary.
Rep. King will remind voters of Rubio's Dream Act, which he's tried to walk back after getting booed in front of TEA audiences.
Meanwhile, Walker gets a pass on his 'etch-a-sketching' on comprehensive immigration reform .
primary
Mornin JM :2wave: Exactly visuals.....and like BO. Rubio is young, and energetic. Even moreso than BO since Rubio is only 43. He has to just place in Iowa. Even though Iowans didn't think he was to conservative. They did give him high marks.
Rubio will be able to make up that ground in New Hampshire where more than likely he will win it being more moderate. (that's with who is in now for the GOP)
Also the thing is due to the Invisible primary.....Donors have been giving Rubio's some nods.
Another way is to talk to Republican voters directly — or at least to poll them, as The Des Moines Register and Bloomberg Politics recently did in Iowa. That poll asked potential Republican caucusgoers whether they saw each of their candidates as “too conservative,” “too moderate” or “just right.” I’ve re-created that data below, removing voters who said they weren’t sure about the candidate from the sample.
Rubio and Walker, being lesser known, have more chance to shape their image. And they can make some electability arguments of their own. In Rubio’s case, it’s about being a Hispanic candidate from a swing state with a good life story; in Walker’s, it’s about having been elected in a blue-leaning swing state three times in four years.....snip~

There ya go again. What makes you think that their relationship and it's faults lay entirely at the feet of one person in that relationship alone?
Why are you so bitter?
The most appealing this about Walker for me is that he is battled tested and pre-vetted. If there was serious dirt on Walker it would have been found by now.
Not nearly as scurrilous as what Bush-43 did to McCain in the 2000 South Carolina primary, your neck of the woods .
