A rogue state nuclear technician opposed the danger of the rogue state's nuclear weapons in the 1980's, and decided to be a whistleblower in Britain to confirm they had nuclear weapons.
For doing that, the rogue state decided to kidnap him. To protect their relationship with Britain they had Mossad use a "honey trap" to lure him to Italy, where they kidnapped him, injecting him with a paralyzing drug and taking him to the rogue state.
There, he was imprisoned for 18 years, 11 of them in solitary confinement. When his sentence ended, he was forbidden from leaving the rogue state and restricted from talking to any foreigners, and jailed twice again for talking to people. To this day, the restrictions are renewed every year.
