Well, nowadays, Africa seems to be on the fast track. It's now getting good governance, and with its various problems being resolved slowly, it seems to be improving a lot.
Of course, China knows this and wants to sell its cheap products to the new, hungry African market, as its people grow richer, a new market and player emerges.
Once upon a time, Asia was hopelessly divided and lay in carnage, yet look at it now. Africa is the same. Now, it's laid in carnage by dictators and warlords. However, as that breed is now being extinguished, Africa is rebuilding itself. Will it become like Asia?
Let's hope so....

........communist dictatorships, communist monarchies, monarchies, dictatorships, democracies????? (more info please cuz asia has it all)

Well, probably like Asia in economically and politically. Africa's economy is really improving nowadays, and the people want new, better products, so China wisely invests and gives away its surplus goods to Africa to gain a huge partner in the future. Africa's politics is really improving too. The dictatorships are falling down (though many still remain like Eritrea's) and the warlords are all gone except for Joseph Kony who is on the run and is now powerless. Africa is really improving.

Oh, probably democracy (but it will be a hard hike), because the people are getting tired of dictatorships. Yet, Africa is a huge continents with small nations and there will be many exceptions.

Sorry PSK but Africa is not on the fast track.

My country of South Africa since 1999 has been horribly mismanaged and is going to sink, and we're the premier power on the continent... so not much hope for the rest of the continent... yet. I still retain hope.
