Remember Speaker Pelosi's stolen laptop (never to be recovered)?

Looks like DOJ just got one of the perps. 36 months Fed time, for 2 felonies & 4 misdemeanors - 6 criminal convictions total. Besides now being a felon, she'd better keep a clean nose because she's only one strike shy of the three-strike-rule.

By her looks, youth, and gender, it's hard to believe the crimes she committed and what she did to herself. I guess looks can be deceiving, eh?

Hope she enjoys her time.

Anyone can fall for a destructive cult regardless of looks.

Young women who you think are good looking don't commit crimes?

Ok this sounds messy. I will say she admitted she didn't read the affidavit that she signed. Her screwup not the courts. On the other hand 5 years is a bit stiff. Violent criminals don't get that much now. More of the not my fault because I didn't know or I was justified because I was mistreated mentality. In this case she admits she didn't know because she didn't read the form she signed.

And your girl probably didn't read the pledge of allegiance.

Only 3 years?

The jury hung on the theft and obstruction charges.

Apparently this defendant direct another individual to take the laptop, and also directed them to use gloves to protect their identities. But, she beat the theft of the laptop charge herself.

I suspect her associate that did the physical removal (of the laptop) is in a world of trouble! I do remember this last individual tried to sell the laptop to Putin. What can I say? Fine patriots, are they not? That's what they call themselves.

Interesting how you perceived my comment as "good looking", reflechissez. Especially given the Axios article noted the same, but not in the way you imply.

I think you're both right!

That sends us all a clear message of who is in charge.

She should of burned the office down. You only get a year for arson in the federal courts. At least that's what you get if your fighting for the right side.

A U.S. judge on Thursday sentenced disbarred lawyer Colinford Mattis to one year and one day in prison for his role in setting fire to an empty New York City police car with a Molotov cocktail during May 2020 protests over George Floyd's death, the Brooklyn U.S. attorney's office said.

wait...,WHAT? I thought us libz were the bleeding hearts? She's no better than the crusty old Proud Boys. Do the crime, do the time.

Yep.

I'd like to show some sympathy, because Trump is preying upon those who often are less aware & less cognizant.

But, they know what they're doing enough to matter - IMO.

It just gets me more disgusted with Trump, seeing the lives he has ruined at his selfish expense. He's beyond disgusting.

Seems inline compared to the sentences of the liberal rioters of 2020 where the overwhelming majority of the over ten thousand arrested got deferred sentences or community service.

Guess it helps when you have a twat like the future VP Kamala Harris cheering you on and helping with your bail.

The vast majority of citations and charges against George Floyd protesters were ultimately dropped, dismissed or otherwise not filed, according to a Guardian analysis of law enforcement records and media reports in a dozen jurisdictions around the nation.

Quite honestly, that's exactly the message that needs to be sent.

1K indicted at the original 1/6. At the next year's memorial? 'Nada! Nothing! Perfectly peaceful. I rest my case.

Trump is a textbook sociopathic narcissist. He has NO problem stepping over the broken bodies and destroyed lives that are his doing.. Everyone is disposable to him once they've served their purpose, and the world offers a never ending supply of victims.

Send her some money to spend in commissary. I’m sure she’ll appreciate it. I’m sure Donald trump sent her some money.

Do you kiss your mother with that mouth?

Well said.

Given trump's tendencies, and as you stated so well - the never ending availability of victims, it often becomes incumbent upon society to intervene, often done through the Criminal Justice System.
