I'd like to start a new Sci-Fi series. After looking around and reading a ton of reviews I bought the two books above. I started them both and neither one is grabbing me.

Anyone have a tip?

The Silo series Wool, Shift, and Dust.

If you are geared more toward the fantasy side of the genre, the Between the Earth and Sky series has grabbed me. Only two books so far, though. Black Sun and Fevered Star .

This. I just finished Wool this weekend and am hoping to start Shift in a few days. They are excellent. I admit being inspired by the TV series that I watched before reading Wool, but nothing is taken away from having done so.

Shift is my favorite of the trilogy.
