The oppression of opposing information in the USA is increasing; but it is nowhere even remotely close to the level of NK.

Trump would like to be a firmly powerful dictator similar to Un, but he is not even remotely close.

Yeah, Trumpers constantly pooh, pooh or disregard as crazy any comments about Trump's threats to our democracy. But, IMO ultimately you will find that Americans want democracy not this Facists, autocratic shit that Trump is busy installing.

Actually, for decades his base has seemed to have a pretty anti-American, anti-democracy view, wanting an authoritarian - as long as they think he's on 'their side'. The same people were attracted to Palin, W Bush, Reagan, for somewhat similar reasons. We just haven't had someone as out of control as trump. But imaging Palin had become president. The oligarchs have gotten more fanatical.

No, but that sort of misses the point. When they are 'in the bubble' it's a lot closer than you might think. For them the other media might as well not exist mostly.

Again, he's a lot closer than you seem to think. He's essentially a lawless nut; and he has a compliant Congress (by a few votes) and a compliant Supreme Court (by 6-3). What he lacks in the absolute authority of Kim Jong-Un, he more than makes up for in the power of the US versus the power of North Korea. Kim can't affect global trade or support genocide or bomb Iran like trump.

It's not really based on The Apprentice, and I wouldn't describe trump that way. It's about the billions they can spend to get people to pick their candidate over the Democrat. Palin, W. Bush, Jeb Bush who was the front runner, and others weren't stars on the apprentice either, but they could get Republican votes. My point is, the oligarchy political machine isn't killed after trump.

Again that's because of his approval ratings from the right and they can't even bring him up to fifty percent and I suspect his ratings will continue to drop. Money talks, especially to most people who don't have enough and that is the average American.
