Here, I'll help you out:


The quote above is the entire quote from the beginning of the sentence. The part in green is where the FB link conveniently begins. The obvious intent is to exclude vital context that shows us Trump just wants to allow people to pray at public school so that their 1st amendment rights are not violated, not that Trump wants to force everyone at school to pray as the redacted quote suggests could be the case. Seems that FB poster thinks his viewers are dunces who are incapable of looking up the entire quote.
 

There are literally thousands of political initiatives every single election cycle. To cherry-pick one and pretend like it single-handedly has enormous influence over policymaking is just plain stupid. It's either maliciously manipulative to highlight it, or it's motivated by pure ignorance.

Think tanks are business-as-usual variables in national and state politics. They try to get referendums off the ground, only succeed in extremely rare circumstances when the initiative has strong public support, and they always have hundreds of pages of potential referendums that never see the light of day. Project 2025 is no different and it will be no more or less effective than any of the thousands of other initiatives.

I support the right for children to have a prayer by themselves in some corner during recess. This “now our classroom is going to pray to Jesus and you’re welcome to stay silent” stuff has no place in a public classroom. If it happens, then there should be an equal right to now force the entire same class go through another prayer to another God and again tell the students they can stay silent if they don’t want to pray to Muhammad, Buddha, Luke Skywalker etc. as the class spends the next several hours running through prayer after prayer.

So you're against teaching subjective religious beliefs, but I'd bet the farm you have no problem indoctrinating these same kids with progressive political beliefs.
